Akeyless Review
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use. Very easy setup. Good customer support
What do you dislike about the product?
AWS SES keys rotation not supported.
Key rotation should be in 3 phase. Create new key (90days), Inactivate old key (95days), Delete old key (100days). this is helpful for consumer to have some time to update keys before actually breaking by creating new key and deleing old one at same time.
Documentation should include contianer setup like ECS, fargate etc.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have central management for all the SSH configurations makes adding and removing users from several systems a thing of the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial installation and configuration can be daunting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing remote access via SSH to servers. No longer need to have specific user accounts on every device.
AKeyless is the Cadillac of Credential Management!

Intuitive interface once you get acquainted to it. Has a lot of functionality product is very well thought out

Little bit of a learning curve getting it setup and the basic concepts

Static Credential Storage, Key Rotation, Secret Storage for a variety of applications
Top of the line with full of features
What do you like best about the product?
Akeyless has easy to deploy on-prem component and covers most of the industry standard use-cases. Major feature is their Hybrid cloud deployment model.Product documentation is customer centric specially API testing portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
More sophistacated solution for secret zero problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have scattered secret management solutions across our enterprise and it is difficult to manage each solution separately. Akeyless is one stop solution for our usecases and has Onprem+polycloud deployment model which gives us high availability and resiliency.

Its a top notch product and needs to be considered with other industry leading products while selection.

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely supportive and very engaging team. Taking a detailed approach towards understanding the most important need of the customer
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that we as an organization dislike with Akeyless. There are always one or two gaps in the platform with any product

We are only doing a Proof Of Concept now but this is to select an enterprise secret management platform
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Since we have not adopted it yet, it is very hard to answer this. But so far the support that we have received from Akeyless team members is truly remarkable.
Easy to use SaaS Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Being new to Secrets Management. Akeyless support was able to help mw get up and running in no time. Using the CLI SDK I was able to quickly migrate all of our existing secrets into Akeyless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Syslog parsing could use a little work. Some of the key value pairs don't always parse cleanly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Akeyless as a central secret management solution for our hybrid cloud environment.
Solid offering
What do you like best about the product?
Akeyless is easy to stand up and adopt. I'm a fan of DFC and with the gateway I have full control over my keys and secrets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback in my opinion is documentation.

Multiple.

Well worth exploring. The features on offer are nothing to sneeze at.
Akeyless for Secure SSH/Remote access
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent documentation and support is extremely knowledgeable and quick to respond to questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this moment. A little leg work to get going once installed and set up but that is expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing ssh keys for multiple users. Using SAML authentication this saves a bunch of time.
Great tool to have to automate secrets management
What do you like best about the product?
Seamless connection to Stack. It really helps in reducing the communication time between multiple teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
SIEM integration documentation could be improved which will help in making the integration hassle free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password management for teams has solved a lot of headaches for the various teams which will be working together. Having multiple teams might lead some users to forget their passwords which will impact the business in restoring access to those users
Great secret management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing I liked about akeyless is that it simplifies authentication by utilizing external identity providers
What do you dislike about the product?
The system is pretty complex to administer. The learning curve us very large
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
clearly clear text passwords and also the user vault is pretty neat so users can write their passwords on sticky notes
