Cvent Attendee Hub Provides a Great Experience for Your Attendees
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are opportunities for attendees to interact with each other within the app. I also like how easy it makes it for individuals to see their event schedule and make sure they know where they need to be when.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were slightly more app and website configuration options. Our designer was a bit limited on what he could do because there is no coding option here since the app set-up is designed for individuals without coding experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Cvent Attendee Hub allowed us to connect with our event attendees in a new and interesting way. It helped us engage our attendees as well. Without the app there would not have been as much engagement at our event.

What do you like best about the product?
The attendee hub is a great tool to help organize exhibitors and share maps of the venue with attendees since it connects with the Cvent app and allows for attendee engagement through live polling and Q&A features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without complete training or deep diving into the capabilities, it is sometimes difficult to understand which features are the most beneficial for your event. Still, there is a variety of options to choose from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best use for the attendee hub is utilizing the attendee engagement features such as live polling and Q&A functions. This helps resolve issues with attendee participation and allows us to collect actionable data points throughout the event.
Great flexibility and options make up for some limitations on user experience
What do you like best about the product?
I had an easy time navigating the admin portal, which was fully integrated with the rest of our CVENT setup. When we made updates they were generally reflected immediately in the live app. There were so many layers of flexibility for uploading content. We also had many options for different levels of visibility which were essential during testing and live troubleshooting. The tech support team was knowledgeable and very helpful on phone calls. Although we did much of the setup in-house, we definitely needed guidance from the CVENT team. I found the app easy enough to navigate once I spent time with it, although first-time users had some challenges.
What do you dislike about the product?
We regularly had to repurpose features to match our use case. In some ways, I appreciated how flexible they were, but in other ways, it was frustrating to work around the intended use. We were surprised at the lack of full-feature social engagement and had to adapt Discussion rooms and session "polls" to meet that need. Our tech support team was quite helpful, but the account managers were much harder to reach. We had to scale back some of our plans because the account team did not keep us informed about the necessary timeline until it was too late. They were generally unresponsive on email threads involving the tech support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Attendee Hub allowed us to bring our conference alive for guests and provide a clear schedule, instructions and maps for everyone. We did not have time to build a custom app, so we appreciated how easy it was to jump right into Attendee Hub. Without this solution, it would have been difficult to meet the needs of our guests for our return to in-person events.
Great conference experience
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to easily find my personal schedule of events as well as the conference events overall, I participated successfully in polls and surveys and received timely notifications about required actions needed during the event.
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt the app was functional for our need and my interaction with it was purely informational, which it assisted me with throughout our event. I was unable to load my personal profile information beyond what had already been loaded (most likely just my phone since others seemed to be able to just fine) and wished there had been a bit more social interaction available so we could see attendees experiences similar to social media.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cvent was very successful in quickly sending important notifications that were very important anytime our admins sent one out. I thought the polls and surveys feature were useful for those on our conference committee and will help them plan better for next year.

What do you like best about the product?
I think the attendee hub is a very nice feature from CVent, it does have a lot of interactive options and with an organized structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I deslike that the attendee hub is not linked with the registration website. In previous events, we had the problem of people not receiving the attendee hub link by email (both from Cvent and from another platform) and with this it compromised the live attendance of our events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far we keep having the same issues, as I mentioned in the previous comment, that being a separate platform it makes it harder for other people to access it, since they assume it will be the same link as the registration.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it wasn't your traditional app. Instead of icons pushing you to each area you could make things featured and much more experiential/immersive. It reminded me of a social media page.
What do you dislike about the product?
dont like how i couldnt message specific users. think there could have been more resources provided for first time users to showcase examples and how to use features. Sponsors- doing photos 1x1 was very tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing event info to guests and communicating to attendees through push notifications/annonucements. Navigation and schedule info essential to onsite attendees.
Easy to navigate with robust features
What do you like best about the product?
Cvent Attendee Hub offers various features that help me plan before and during events. Agenda building with speaker information is helpful, while push notifications and gamification through the app keep me engaged.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cvent Attendee Hub is only as suitable as how much the event completes utilizes the section offerings. Frustrating knowing more info could be accessed, but the company failed to take advantage of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cvent Attendee hub allows me to see the agenda schedule easily, create my path, and be notified of updates. I also rely on the attendee section to network and start discussions on the topics covered at the event.
Good for using a lot of in-person events
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite function is the website registration. Being able to have a one-stop location is very convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Email templates seem to use some work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a convenient and professional meeting invitation.
Experience with Cvent
What do you like best about the product?
I thoroughly enjoyed how easy and accessible the system was while attending the conference and seeing it from the "behind the scenes" perspective working the conference. It was extremely helpful to new and past attendees at our conference and I hope we will be using CVENT again.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some minor glitches at times, but it might have been the capacity of everyone accessing the application at once. I think I noticed one issue while trying to access my direct messages. I never received any notifications if someone messaged me, and it was easier to use on the browser than the app itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not have any current issues, there may have been glitches at some point, but the CVENT staff we had at the conference was very helpful and always willing to support!
Missing some features, but overall works well.

Support offered during the initial setup was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
No preview for website, gamification lacking, manually assigning attendees to sessions is tedious.

Solves providing a central information resource for event attendees.
