End-to-End Platform for everything Data
What do you like best about the product?
The platform coupled with 1-1 support cover everything needed to operate and manage a modern data-stack from end-to-end.
What do you dislike about the product?
Migrating to a new data platform takes time and planning, but the incremental approach with 5X eased those challenges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5X enables consolidating nearly all the process and tools needing to manage a complex data stack into a single pane of glass. This enables end-to-end visibility of tools and costs while also enabling a smaller team to do more.

easy to use, support has been excellent, we used their professional services also for a migration from big query to snowflake and that has gone perfectly.

Invaluable partnership
What do you like best about the product?
How approachable, knowledgeable, and committed 5x entire team is. 5x has consistently guided us in our Data transformation. Proactively monitoring and taking action to ensure our data is clean, accurate, reliable, and on time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the time difference can be a challenge. Usually, however, 5x is able to accommodate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5X has significantly transformed Upright’s analytics and decision-making process. Previously, we relied on manual data collation and cleaning, but with 5X we were able to build an automated process that provides a comprehensive 360° overview of our business. 5X augmented our capacity, allowing our internal teams to concentrate on other critical initiatives. Their data platform, equipped with all necessary components out-of-the-box, eliminated the need to integrate disparate data vendors. This streamlined approach drastically reduced our time-to-insight, enabling us to deliver dashboards within two weeks instead of the typical quarter.
Amazing Product for critical business needs
What do you like best about the product?
5X helped us to build our data platform from scratch, from scoping the problem and insights we needed, to recommended the best tools after evaluating our use cases and then executing and self-manaing the delivery of that requirement inclduing data migration and warehouse optimization to reduce cost. They setup weekly cadence and were always available to help.
There are consultancies who just "adivce", there are vendors who just "do as told", but rare to get partners who advice, do, think and then re-do on their own. 5X is an amazing partner that really thinks and acts for us.

What do you dislike about the product?
They are so good that one might not build that capability in-house - which is something we thought hard about. But still went ahead with them as the core business for us was using data not building it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5X is solving execution debt for companies. Typically, everyone is focused on growth and delivering targets but ensuring that the foundation of decision making and data need people to stop, take a step back and build these other areas. 5X enabled us to clean out that execution debt as they fixed that without compromising on focus towards the next goal.
Efficiency and Expertise in Data Management
What do you like best about the product?
The 5X platform is a great patform for managing our data (it's nice that it's centralized versus logging in to multiple systems). We also use their consultants, essentially, as a part of our team which has been super helpful. They've been great at balancing our requests while also bringing best practices. It was very easy to setup and they've worked with us throughout.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform offers great features, there are still some areas under development (such as the integration of dbt docs). This is a minor inconvenience for now, but there are other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The combined benefits of system integration and expert guidance have enabled us to move a lot faster.
Review of 5X
What do you like best about the product?
They offer quite a unique service that allowed our organistion to become more stream-lined, performant and measurable without having to hire an internal team. They were able to onboard super fast into the org and were quick to learn about our specific domain in the blockchain space.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didnt find anything that I disliked, merely that my own team could have used them more effectivly as they are a powerful resource.

5X built an end-to-end data platform, with 0 data platform resources needed from Mina Foundation.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, great support, simplifies time and overhead dealing with multiple vendors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looking forward to the team continue to invest in more in house feature development that unlock more value post-implementation of data vendors

End to end modern data stack with 5x
What do you like best about the product?
5x take all of the integration effort away from establishing and maintaining an end to end modern dat stack
What do you dislike about the product?
At the time we started 5x didn't have an out-of-the-box solution for MongoDb as a data source, so they had to work with us to build a custom solution. This process went well - they did a great job - but an out-of-the-box solution would have been even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5x allows us to have a high performance, highly reliable modern data stack that we can build great data sharing and Business Intelligence solutions on for our customers.
Friendly and Helpful
What do you like best about the product?
5X has been very helpful in our process of cleaning up our snowflake. The platform and consultancy has made it easy to keep our data transformations in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is that I prefer the fivetran UI compared to the 5x platform. The fivetran platform gives an overview of syncs and is easier/quicker to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5X has been improving most of our data ingestion. They have provided cleaner code for incremental loads and the ability to easily ingest new tables in python. 5X has also been assisting the migration of all of our logic that was previously in Tableau / Tableau Prep / Alteryx to DBT. This has made it much easier for us to work in one space, with a tool we all know (SQL).

What do you dislike about the product?
There's not always 100% alignment or understanding of our goals versus what 5X recommends
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5X is assisting us with ETL and RETL processes, and that's helping us sync data between our third party and internal systems.
