Efficient, effective, and convenient data analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Out-of-the box connectivity between apps, allowing us to easily improve the availability and reliability of our data across our systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have not found any downsides yet. Very satisfied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5X is helping us to solve inefficiency in our data structure, enable data sharing/syncing between applications which improves cross-team communication and alignment, and increase our analytics capabilities. Has allowed us to quickly and easily improve the quality of our data, knowledge of our customer base, and marketing efforts with limited to no involvement from our internal teams so they can focus their time on other initiatives.
5X - the only data platform you'll ever need
What do you like best about the product?
5X is built with the objective of making data simple, and they have been successfully doing so for us. We leverage 5X as a one stop solution for all our data needs. Their platform is clean and super easy to use, helping us manage all data related tasks from a single pane instead of toggling between multiple tools.
We also use them for their consultancy on top of the platform. We;ve had 3 experiences with long term engineers from 5X and they are 3/3. I've never had a better experience with anyone else.

What do you dislike about the product?
There isnt much to dislike about 5X. Our experience has always been top notch, their team is very approachable and proactive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With 5X onboarded, we are able to have scalable data analytics capabilities without having any data team in-house. Originally our dashboards were inconsistent having different values for the same metrics across different dashboards. They helped us streamline the logic across all dashboards forming a single source of truth. They also helped us optimize our BigQ, bringing down our monthly costs by 65%.

Wonderful BigQuery Expertise
What do you like best about the product?
They're real experts in the modern data warehouse, and for us, especially in BigQuery. Their consulting services are really unique in this space!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about 5X. They did everything they said they could and would do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using our data lake/data warehouse more efficiently and effectively, which is make our analytics function cheaper, faster, and better.

Some BYO tool integrations require manual setup by 5X, but this is something that is constantly being improved

Great help with data projects, and one platform to manage our tech stack
What do you like best about the product?
Their consultancy team has been super helpful delivering a migration from Bigquery to Snowflake. Methods they employed ensured a smooth migration which had no impact on reports and business users during the project. Good communication and an extension to our data team.

5X helped us set up a no-nonsense, easy to maintain and truly modern stack for a startup
What do you like best about the product?
Deep expertise on broad group of tools available in the market and how they fit with an orgsanizations goals / limitations / current stack
What do you dislike about the product?
Even higher coverage of tools/integrations on offer. Believe 5X is increasing its coverage of tools to progressively include niche use cases (like some of ours) - and that is the direction to go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5X helps us atriculate our data tooling needs better and find the right tools that fit our use cases while making the implementation and maintenance super smooth.
Excellent option for all things big data related
What do you like best about the product?
As a new startup, we needed to setup a data platform from scratch. We had no prior data for the new platform we were launching and no inhouse data analysts to help us build. 5X was walked us through the process, dispelling myths and misunderstandings we had about our data needs and the daunting process ahead of us. Key things that 5X helped us with:
1. Understanding the data pyramid of needs and wants. And showing us where we were and the needs that companies at our stage need.
2. Relieved concerns about creating a solution to meet our needs within a realistic timeframe.
3. Delivered on implementation, with all the proper hand holding to ensure we stayed on track.
4. Excellent communication whenever we had questions, especially with data vendor integrations
5. They really are a one solution shop to abstract away the messy connection points and vendor integrations related to setting up a data platform

What do you dislike about the product?
We were an early client for 5X, and we were not able to use their new offerings today. Managing and adding additional ETL work would have been even more straightforward if we could access their new integrated IDE.
Outside of that, the only other issues would have been the need to have them customize a few select modules, which are more automated today. These are just nitpicky elements that 5X handled for us but would have taken us much longer to do ourselves.

5X built an end-to-end data platform, with 0 data platform resources needed from 28.
5X allows us to see ROI from data much faster
For startups, if you are running on a tight budget, I can't recommend 5X more especially if you are based in the US. 5X offers 50% less total cost of ownership than if you built and maintained your platform inhouse.
Also, 5X serves as a fully managed data platform - from getting the data into the database, performing transforms, and visualizing the data for business teams. If we had to do this ourselves, we’d have to sign multiple vendors and would take over 6-8 months to set up. With 5X we were up and running in no time!

What do you dislike about the product?
5X was able to accomodate US hours but if you are on US PST time there's less overlapping time for sure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5X provides a one stop shop solution for startups. Startups always run on a tight budget but still we need to have data pipeline built up and be able to analyze data easily. There's a many tools out there and it's such a headache to figure out which one to use and spend time to negotiate. With 5X, everything is on 1 single platform, it's easy to use and they provide the best support!
End-to-end platform, well designed for orgs taking early steps towards building data capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
I liked best that it is an end-to-end data stack with all components built in, as required to run an Analytics function. This avoided the need to go through procurement and contracting with multiple vendors. It allowed for rapid implementation, and ability to deliver results faster to the business.

Needed to work across multiple global time zones, within a narrow window of time.

- we did not have a fully resourced data team to acquire, build and maintain components of the data stack in-house. 5X platform addressed this need.
