5X is a game changer when it comes to managing data.
What do you like best about the product?
We love how 5X has mapped out common use cases across various categories within the data space and built a platform that addresses all these with a seamless experience. Instead of needing to log into multiple platforms, we now simply log into the 5X platform to manage data operations, receive support/ recommendations, control team access, and monitor usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
New features required some hand holding, which I feel is common across any tool. But otherwise, we have no complains.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5X has helped us streamline how we now look at data as a whole. One of the biggest challenge 5X solved is managing usage and bills across different data tools through their unified billing. This feature enabled us to receive a single bill for our entire data infrastructure, thereby simplifying our financial management and reducing administrative overheads.

What do you like best about the product?
5X is a simple and easy to use platform designed with self-serve capabilities. If we ever need support or guidance, it may be any data related queries outside the 5X platform, their built-in chat support team responds within minutes, ensuring we receive timely assistance.

Our experience so far has been very smooth
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing data synchronization was one of our biggest challenge. We manually coordinated syncs with our warehouse modeling jobs, incorporating a time buffer to avoid overlap, thus increasing data latency. Implementing this on the 5X data platform helped us improve our performance with its integrated experience. The platform aligns our end-to-end pipelines, ensuring real-time accuracy and significantly reducing manual conversion costs.

5X guided us in building our data platform from the ground up. We lacked proper data practices, and our data was scattered and manually processed to create visuals. 5X took the time to understand our business requirements and recommended right tools tailored to our use case. They ensured our data architecture was custom-built to meet our needs, allowing our business users to get the visuals they desired.Overall, 5X has revolutionized the way we handle and utilize data today, significantly enhancing our efficiency and capabilities.

5X has revolutionized the way we manage our data! Biggest value prop is thier platform: incredibly user-friendly, eliminates the need to toggle between multiple tools. Their team is always accessible and provides expert guidance and recommendations whenever needed. The consulting team helped us optimize on our warehouse spends & performance, resulting a 30% cost reduction and an efficient data transformation.

Honestly, there’s nothing I can think of to dislike about 5X
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before collaborating with 5X, our data was fragmented and inefficient. We faced challenges in terms of manual data consolidation, inconsistent company-wide dashboards, and managing multiple vendors with their individual billing. We didn’t follow data best practices, which resulted in our teams spending more time correcting the data, making it difficult for new team members to understand the data pipelines & models. The 5X platform revolutionized the way we manage data, by consolidating all operations into a single UI. The 5X consulting team conducted a thorough data cleaning activity, following best practices, which eliminated errors and inconsistencies, resulting in a more reliable data. Thank you guys!

What do you like best about the product?
5x have been an integral part of our Data Team at Monica Vinader for nearly a year. Anmol, Vinay and Sagar have been an extention of our internal data community and it has been a pleasure to work with them on a daily basis. They have been quick to pick up business context, worked hard to tight deadlines and helped optimise our ETL considerably.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been laser focused on optimising our data stack through 5x consultancy for the last 12 months, however now we have reached the end of this enormous project, I'd like to understand and extract more value from the 5x Platform itself on a BAU basis. We hope to see how we are able to maximise the potential of the next gen of 5x later this month.

We came to 5x for consultancy support in advance of migrating from our BI Tool. This project was threefold:
1. Consolidating our Data Warehousing capability to BigQuery
2. Optimising our ETL layer
3. Going to market and onboarding to a new BI Tool that met all of our business requirements
We are now at a point where 5x have helped us improve the efficiency across the whole of our data stack, from processing costs to business-user insight generation in Sigma. As a lean data team, managing this stack ourselves is now much more realistic from both a governance and pipeline perspective, as well as having a single source of truth when it comes to our stakeholder facing metricss.

5X provided us with an outstanding turn-key solution that uses some of the best technology out today. Thanks to their expertise, we successfully implemented a comprehensive solution in less than a month. In addition, they have an expert team of data consultants, that help us manage our data with best practices in place.

It's hard to point to anything - 5X does exactly what we need with zero maintenance

Instead of building and maintaing disparate components within our tech stack, we chose to deploy the 5X platform. This has eliminated the hassle of identifying, validating, negotiating or implementing individual components. Any recommendations that we get from the 5X team are well thought, taking all edge conditions into considerations.

5X helped us build our data team from scratch and created a comprehensive end-to-end data platform, requiring no additional platform resources from our team. The 5X team was technically sound, strong, and consistently available to discuss anything about data.

I have not found any issues and have personally learned a lot from the 5X team.

The 5X data platform is a plug and play solution, offering a unified space to reliably build, monitor, and maintain data flows for business analytics. With native integration of top-tier data tools, 5X provides the flexibility to deploy and build according to our business needs, enhancing collaboration within our teams.

All companies including 5X experience some growing pains. However, they make sure issues are resolved quickly ensuring a smooth customer experience
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our primary goal was to manage all data operations from a single UI, which 5X successfully implemented in no time. Additionally, we utilize their expert services for critical data-focused projects, such as cost optimization, improve query performance, strategize data operations etc.

5X ingestion is very intuitive user interface, works as expected, incredible support from the 5X team. The setup is easy! We use it for almost all our customers who need a data stack in minutes.

What do you dislike about the product?
They do not auto-setup BigQuery (only snowflake as of today) and as a BigQuery fan I am excited to see them add support for this (they said it would be done in Q3!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fastest way to get a stack setup and connected. We use them to get a warehouse, ingestion and a dashbaord on day 1. They are fast and cheap with great service.
