Best support and very technically competent
What do you like best about the product?
Their support is exceptional. No matter what issue arises, the 5X team is always ready to resolve it and its fast. They’re also very technically adept and effective in real-world, practical situations. Highly recommended.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use 5x for most of our ingestion (through fivetran). We have also switched all our transformation layer jobs from dbt to 5x. We also use their platform to schedule custom data scripts.
Great all round data and AI platform. Makes things simple
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to provision compute at the granularity I choose is fantastic. UX has clearly been prioritised. And the ease of integration with my current data sources was great with 5X integration. I like the I don't have to worry about a bunch of infrastructure stuff and I can just focus on product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Understanding how the IDE and DBT codebase integrated with Jobs and the rest of the platform confused me a bit. But I believe they're moving to a VSCode / cursor integration which would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're building a full investment AI platform on 5X. We're ingesting from lots of different sources, running ETL pipelines and hosting jobs. 5X benefits me by being able to run computationally heavy workflows with simplified distributed compute from my application.

5X's integrated IDE and orchestration capabilities perfectly streamlined our alt data ingestion pipeline, enabling seamless integration of external market data sources into our investment platform workspace with robust data governance and version control.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could benefit from more comprehensive documentation for complex configurations.

5X solved our data pipeline fragmentation by providing a unified platform that seamlessly integrated our data ingestion, warehouse storage, and orchestration workflows, enabling us to focus on building our investment platform rather than managing disparate data infrastructure.
Great product to start a Data journey
What do you like best about the product?
Gives almost the entire Data Stack in one platform, eliminates the need to buy multiple products. Super easy to use and reliable. Great customer support.

Nothing in particular. Overall quite happy with it.

Ingesting custom data from not so popular data sources which do not have off the shelf connectors.
5x is a great orchestration feature
What do you like best about the product?
I can easily orchestrate my DE jobs, build connectors an track if it is successfully synced or not.

Nothing as of now, as it is a continuously improving product

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about 5x is how seamlessly it brings together the data tools in one unified platform. The onboarding process was smooth and the support team is knowledgeable and quick to respond. Our data team now operates more efficiently without the hassle of coordinating across various systems or extraction methods.

There isn’t much to dislike. So far so good

Before 5X, our data team built multiple data extraction pipelines using different technologies and handwritten code. Now, we operate these processes more efficiently without the hassle of coordinating across various systems or extraction methods.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is amazing for data management. It was really simple to implement my ETL pipelines using the tools available. Has the ability to connect to any dataset effortlessly and works seamlessly with Snowflake. The BI features give options to easily create valuable dashboards in no time. All of its capabilities combined make it indispensable for data-driven work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would have been great to have some more AI capabilities like search to automate some tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was easily able to connect to my data source and create the ETL pipelines I needed to set up the data I required for my BI dashboards.

Overall 5X has been very solid. Nothing really comes to mind that wouldn't be user error, likely.

5X has helped us implement our Data and BI strategy. They combine quite a few tools for ingestion, transformation and so forth, that make the whole process easier to manage.

Some advanced features are still in development, and setting up complex workflows can be tricky, occasionally, we need extra support for custom integrations.

Ingestion from desperate data sources and making our internal reporting way more easier and faster. Reporting that used to take days is now almost realtime and has enabled transparancy throughout the organization
Easy to use Data Platform with lots of capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to set up and use with a clean interface that makes onboarding easy for non-technical users as well. Its capabilities range from seamless integrations to analytics and automation and managing complex datasets without overburden on different teams. They have a good support team and regular feature updates ensuring we always have the tools we needed to drive value.
What do you dislike about the product?
They do not offer built-in AI solutions out of the box. However, I appreciate that their team is working on adding AI capabilities. And it will be a great addon and will make platform even more powerful.
