Great service, solid product.
What do you like best about the product?
Netacea's bot mitigation models have served us well for years now; the combination of AI and human expertise provides a formiddable defensive front.
What do you dislike about the product?
New AI models can take quite some time to develop which can mean living with ongoing attacks for longer than ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blocking of bad actors across multiple areas including Ddos, stuffing attacks, scrapers and fake account creation.
Great to Work with, Great detection, Reporting is Solid.
What do you like best about the product?
Customer Service is Amazing. Their algo's do their jobs. Team is great to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Been using Netacea for the past 4 Years. Reporting has gone from not great to pretty solid. Still no ability to stream their data into another log service, but their built in reporting handles for all of our needs and many of our nice-to-have items.
Capcha has gone from potentially overly aggressive to very tunable. They have a mode now that also enables a dialing up of aggression when your sites are under a heavy bot load, and this is also a great functionality.
Finally, they have increased their pre-capcha technology to a point where capcha isn't needed in most cases, and as I understand it, many companies are able to go without it entirely.
Overall, great product. Not perfect, but definitely closer to perfect than not. Also, the team is a treat to work with.
They also integrate with most (if not all) major CDN's (vercel is nearly here!) and the implementation is super easy.

Scrapers and Pricing Intelligence love to bring down our site. With Netacea, it's just no longer a problem. We weren't able to solve this before we started working with them.

Amazing bot detection and mitigation capabilities with a very low rate of false positives. Great customer service and support team.

Nothing so far but excited about all the improvements Netacea will be doing to the portal.

What do you like best about the product?
The staff is well versed and knowledgeable. The date provided is thorough and extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Netacea is highly regarded to me. The only thing I would say is a negative is the reports. There is a lot of data in the report but can sometimes feel like data overload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unfortunately, I am newer to the company, so I am not 100% of the shortcomings of Netacea. Again, the information provided and knowledge of the staff makes our weekly meetings something we look forward to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need more information to really see your shortcomings, Netacea does not lack in that department. Give them a shot, and see what they can do.

What do you like best about the product?
Integration of the service with our existing systems was extremely easy. Customer service is fast and helpful. Service is dependable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It works well for our needs, but could accomplish more with more sophisticated rules (e.g., block a given IP only when it shows a given user agent).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
System stability was impacted by giant onslaughts of bot traffic. Netacea keeps the worst of this out, protecting our stability and helping overall performance.

What do you like best about the product?
Netacea helps us mitigate the risks that malicious bot traffic poses to our users' accounts and helps protect our organisation against the very real threat of sensitive data exposure. Our on-call engineers can now rest easier at night knowing that automated and proactive threat blocking from Netacea is taking action in near real-time against credential stuffing and fake account creation attacks.
Netacea has a great customer success team who support us very well and help us with threat intelligence updates and improvements to our mitigation strategies.

What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any dislikes with the Netacea product or service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first problem that is solved is our bot management is now automated and mitigation recommendations and actions are machine-learning driven.
We also have lowered our on-call alert fatigue as engineers no longer need to make manual changes to web application firewalls out of hours.

Netacea are great to work with - great people who know Bots and Queuing systems, always feels colloborative

The dashboard provided could do with richer information

We have sucessfully blocked scraping bots - reducing website load and preventing downtime

Nothing stands out as a dislike, but an improvement would be to launch new products and services other than Bot Management and Traffic Management

Communication. Netacea provides a high level of communication which we appreciate greatly. The new tools they've developed recently have provided us amazing data to troubleshoot with when there are issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
Troubleshooting problems can be complex sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many different bots and attackers that Netacea prevents. This means we cut down on infrastructure costs as we don't need to account for these nefarious attempts.
My world is much quieter now !
What do you like best about the product?
The comprehensiveness of threat detection and mitigation of threats in realtime. The ability of the ML model to adapt to BOT "re-tooling". I have graphs showing it in action ! BOT caught, BOT re-tooled, BOT caught again. BOT gives up for the day !
What do you dislike about the product?
I actually haven't seen any yet and we've been using them for a year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vicious, very high volume brute force attacks, widely distributed, from all over the globe. At the same time, low and slow attacks trying to come in under the radar. Quite simply my world has gone quiet. From having regular security incidents to oh, nothings really happening is great. However, looking at the mitigation graphs, lots is happening it's just not getting through !

Don't think too narrowly about your use cases. It can handle virtually anything.
