Excellent file share platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can access Egnyte and download or upload flies from anywhere I'm working and others at my work can go in and access the same files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Egnyte has had a couple of "hiccups" in usage, that needed our IT tech to figure out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to work on my files from anywhere, so I'm not restricted to going into the office.

What do you like best about the product?
I like best that I can share various documents with my team members regardless of location and regardless of the documents we are using.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is more difficult to collaborate as a consultant because they do not have the same e-mail as we do, and it can get more difficult to share documents and information
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving problems across departments because we can more easily collaborate and work together, better helping the clients that we serve
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure working with people who are all in the same network
Convenient, secure way of sharing files
What do you like best about the product?
That it just works, it's . a very convenient way of sharing files and keeping things organized and secure for a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am satisfied with the system, perhaps the UI could be a little more tidy but really that is just nit picking, it works ok on desktop and mobile browsers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to share files with a large audience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just to give it a try, the a have a free trial that should give you enough time to play around with the system and see if it fits your needs.

What do you like best about the product?
this file sharing app is secure since I have lots of SS #'s
What do you dislike about the product?
although there is ease of use, when people ask what app we're using I just can't seem to remember the name of this company

secure website since I upload a lot of crew private information

Drag and drop capabilities are nice and the structuring is easy and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
No in line editing, lack of ability to replace a document (that piece is not as intuitive as it should be).

Central/localized document storage for entire company.

I like that it is a virtual cloud system that I can use to keep track of my files

Organizing files, reviewing, making changes, sending large files to others via a link.

Great product for filing, organization and sharing large files
Great for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to check out and collaborate on documents. There is no more sending attachments to people etc. It's great for version control.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web interface vs. the desktop interface are a little different-- different coworkers use different platforms and it can get a little tricky. Also, if you are sending a link to a document, it always goes to the web interface (maybe that's just how we have it set up?)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's super easy to share documents; this is a problem we've had before, since some people at my company use Macs and some use PCs-- sending docs as attachments lead to weird unpredictable problems in the past. With Egnyte, these problems somehow were lessened.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Our employees who hate computers and can't use software don't have many issues using Egnyte, whereas training these types to use SharePoint was a multi day exercise in sadness.
Small non-profit, lots of files and collaboration needs
What do you like best about the product?
Simple functionality of egnyte- ease of doing the things we need to do - uploading and downloading and sharing links of large documents and files with external audiences. I also like the mobile app for in a pinch when my laptop or tablet don't make sense on the road. Has never gone down or been unaccessible in the 10+ years we have been using it. Recent improvements help everyone see who has done what with documents and files more clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching for pictures - some of the image rendering - in a file with large number of high res pics- can be a tad on the slow side but they are big files
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing info in a semi-distributed workforce; providing good member service and sharing of materials and documents. Being able to access all our stuff from anywhere and anytime. i don;t have an IT department so a "file server" is not in the picture here. it also offers really good back up functionality to ensure my employees are not going to lose all our staff if their machine crashes.

Also, we had a subpoena recently and the Egnyte system was so easy to search and download and isolate over 5 years worth of files and documents in question that it relieved a huge headache for a small staff

Egynte has overall been a great solution to move our data to the cloud and keep it easy to share and access.
What do you dislike about the product?
We definitely needed a lot of IT support to set it up and get started and need them to work with Egnyte support when there are problems. So there are costs there.
