What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the uploads are frozen and you have to retry. Depending on your internet connection

Access to files and documents from anywhere only with connection. To be able to organize
departments of the company so that each one has its own storage to load and store

Egnyte is a good option that offers several features to organize more efficiently departments of your company, share documents and more.

Love the feature of being secure without use of v.p.n
What do you dislike about the product?
I found that this program is not user friendly. Load times takes at least 3 minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find being consumers medical information, personal and HIPAA data secured. Allows to show who logged on to what and what was viewed.

Learn the system as much as possible as it is not user friendly

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte allows you control access to information at a granular level for all employees AND external collaborators. I also like the ability to personalize and brand the information portal for ourselves with our logo and colors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to come across a feature that isn't included or a facet that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Information management in a central location- allowing individuals who work with us, but not in our organization to provide input and actively participate in projects.

Overall a decent software with all necessary qualities you can expect from a software of this kind thouroughly recoomended

The interface can sometimes be a bit buggy , hopefully they can solve it soon

Simpler organization of accounts and client statements helping to save time

What do you like best about the product?
I love its universal search feature. Text-based content as well as file names can be indexed. Results can be yielded at lightning speeds when putting in keywords. Any file can be shared (as long as it's already uploaded in Egnyte) by means of an e-mail link. The link should be secured with a password for the intended person to view the sent content. An expiration period can also be applied based on the number of clicks or scheduled time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its desktop sync app needs some improvement. There's no option in changing the synced folder without going through the re-installation/uninstallation process. Folders can't be specified for syncing. A 4GB file limitation makes it difficult to use the desktop syncing feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte's cloud service gives a department an option to locate and synchronize files centrally from variouso locations. Resources from these locations can be made available for a customer by means of a password-protected link. Egnyte hsd plenty of room for company logo branding. This makes it an attractive alternative to Dropbox marketing-wise.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked that it was easy to share a single document or a complete folder with a link. This made it easy to share large files such as project manuals or drawings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, Egnyte would stop running and would have to restart. Also large files took a long time to load and download.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company has made many migrations in the cloud for companies and Egnyte has been used in almost all of them. Provide easy access and redundancy on any platform.

You need a password to access each Egnyte folder, which helps keep private files.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. The design of the folders is easy for the eyes and it is easy to find what you are looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be a good addition to have the option to simply merge the changes into the existing file instead of creating a separate copy of the file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since all our users are remote, this solves the need to host a server and a VPN device to store our documents and shared files.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to upload or move files within the site, the files are essentially visible at the moment they are loaded by the opposite party.
Another Web-based File Sharing Service
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte does the web-based file synchronization and sharing thing very well. I have no issues or complaints. From an end user standpoint, one that does not pay the bills or deals with the whole enterprise, things are great. There is an app that you can use on your phone that makes it one of the better brands it there.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike. It does it's job, there's an app for your phone. If I were to nitpick I'd say that the app is a bit drab in it's UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File sharing is the heart and core of Egnyte. It allows me to access what I need most anywhere.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Egnyte is very good at what it's supposed to do. There are many other competing brands, such as Box. Whether this is one is the one for your company depends on price and requirements.

The best part of Egnyte is its an platform to secure files for the team which helps colloboration,with the help of data visibility keeps track of the documents and is compliant with audit capabilities
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes feel the server issue and documents not been processed for audit trails.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte has become our go to file sharing platform. Keeps our mailbox clean.

Sometimes can't find the files due to the multiple folders we have created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were running into size limitations when attempting to email large collateral files for marketing.
