Strongly recommend
What do you like best about the product?
Desktop application is fluid and fast, continuously implementing new features, support team is very helpful and ready to help, Protect works great for sensitive data and turbo is awesome for multiple offices, specially with low internet latency

Before they had old applications that gave some issues but it was long time ago. Now everything works as expected

Flexible, Powerful and easy to use cloud storage

It's very easy to implement and maintain and the customer service response is always quick and personable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does have it's complexities but that's probably my lack of understanding which customer support always quickly assists with
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small business and didn't want to invest in people and hardware to maintain servers and file storage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the trial, it will quickly prove itself and it's easy to convert to a paid for version if you like it and easy to delete if you don't.
Egnyte transformed how we sync multiple offices, share files, and collaborate with documents.
What do you like best about the product?
As an IT Support Manager my favorite feature is the seamless Bi-Directional syncing from 4 locations with no syncing issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were issues in the early days trying to use Mac or Windows servers with the desktop sync software so I highly recommend using their Storage Sync product with ReadyNAS, Hyper-V or VMWare setups. Once I had that all in place it was a dream syncing to have a hybris cloud system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bi-Directional Syncing from multiple locations, Dropbox like sharing features, Office collaboration on line and slack sharing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to sync, worry free and fast between cloud and office(s) with many integrations with most other SSAS platforms then Egnyte is for you.

What do you like best about the product?
The amount and depth and administrative control. Also, the email notifications that keep people aware of what is happening with file access, uploads, and downloads.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well gosh. Nothing really comes to mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to share very large files in a very secure way.

Integration with Microsoft and Google tools. Decent mobile app.

Integration with workstations etc. is a little buggy.

Keeping all documents from various location in a central cloud store space. Excellent access and great backup / recovery.
Cloud File Share Leader
What do you like best about the product?
With a geographically dispersed workforce Egnyte is the go to avenue for us to share files to our employees to keep them up to date with current information at our job sites. We are finding more and more ways to integrate Egnyte into our workflow process which in turn reduces work hours in the field and at corporate. They are open to product update suggestions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Egnyte is a powerful tool but I think we are not utilizing it to it's fullest potential.

We love it!
What do you like best about the product?
The entire product is easy to use and intuitive. The specific feature we like the best is the ability to share specific folders via "send" and "receive" links.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were possible to drag'n'drop files from one folder to another. The current method - mark the checkbox next to file, press the Move button, select the destination folder - isn't bad and probably prevents mistakes, but drag'n'drop would still be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage many servers that we need to send files to and from. We enjoy having a single list of folders that we can access internally while also being able to share a single, specific folder with a remote server.
Hands down the most versatile server solution out there. We love it

Sub folder access. Integration with Mac/PC (finder/explorer) and all Office products. Easy to customize, but so intuitive. Office 360 integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly...nothing. This is such a great platform I don't have any complaint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a virtual agency and Egnyte has given us the ability to collaborate, share, etc. and providing access to sub-folders only is key.

Try it...you will LOVE it.
Simple to use and cost effective whilst overcoming all the flaws that other solutions don't provide

The ability to manage folder permissions at a granular level. Support desk is quick to respond and always follow up. The ability to sync locally when needed is also key but when not required knowing everything is safely backed up to the cloud and not on people's PCs / Macs

System upgrades are not easy to follow but this is something that has improved considerably.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Granular folder access. Cloud storage and dedicated support desk. The benefits have been ten fold compared to the previous providers.

Use the migration team and have your folder structures planned beforehand

What do you like best about the product?
I like the visual ease of knowing which folders are synced. Syncing in Egnyte seems much more reliable than using Box. I like the ease of knowing which files/folders are private vs. which are shared.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything that I dislike, it serves its purpose very well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File sharing across teams and locations; ensuring that everyone is looking at the same version of a document. So much easier than emailing documents back and forth, only to have someone view/update the wrong version. I also like being able to bookmark folders and set my default view to a specific folder so I don't have to navigate through the folder hierarchy to get to my frequently used files/folders
