Egnyte: a reliable file share system
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte comes with a ton of features for user administration. My favorite one is the one that allows me to share a custom folder with a prospective customer, buyers or clients. It's as simple as adding a connection to share a folder and it can be done. It can also be done by just creating a customer profile so that they can log into it when they need to upload documents. Another great thing about Egnyte is that it eliminates version control issues and makes it simple to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
We usually have WebEdit issues as modifications are not saved properly. It has made us lose some important information that had not been overwritten. This WebEdit feature is not as intuitive as I’d like. Also, I think Egnyte’s support could be more careful, as right now I don’t think they are too helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, our entire company utilizes Egnyte. When we decided to deploy it, we needed a reliable, cloud and premise-specific file share system. We looked for some recommendation from our partners and that’s when we decided to use Egnyte and, although it is not the most known platform, it performs very well. Egnyte has allowed us to simplify working journeys and it's very simple to operate from the place where our pcs are all our records.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Egnyte is very helpful if you want to configure your organization's distinct allowances and folder constructions. We have our own comprehensive scheme of registration and, as soon as it adheres to it, files or issues will never be missed under any circumstance.
Great Cloud Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I love the installment that is customizable that Egnyte allows. I can structure folders in a means which is reasonable for my group and me, sharing with associates and providing permissions. It is not a one-size-fits-all strategy, and that is! I have also come to love the app, which is cellular functions. While I have a file uploaded using a spouse at 10 pm (happens a lot!), transfer down it the pipeline by simply sharing with the partner, instead of gaining access to this PC to get a job, confirm this, and it is a whole lot easier to start the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no method as you see Onedrive collaborate in workplace files. It restricts you, although you can get it done via the browser. I have not had the experiences with client service, and it feels like it's hugely up a down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With I am assuming some security, this program is the business edition of Google Drive. You need to be encouraged by an administrator to get files. Even though the desktop program I'm not fond of, as it can in a browser, it works well as a program, it only gets in the way and has trouble updating.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's the cost point and the ideal product for standards of wants. It is very reliable. I've run, and it has not been accessible. I've experienced 100% uptime; this is a big deal nowadays with how technology companies are currently working.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy for the common user to pick up and learn all the basic functions in a matter of minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been hiccups with accessing data in the past. Not so much to where it is a constant concern, but it has been an issue in the past I’m sure they are constantly working to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud utilization is key in sharing information not just within the company, but with customers too. Egnyte makes this easy and secure.
Its good but has nuances for editing documents
What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to upload or download the documents and easy to share the links between different groups and peoples
What do you dislike about the product?
It is annoying to edit documents. Sometimes it keeps saving copies and this can be painful. The online edit does not work well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure sharing with the teams is quite possible and easy to do. It can be accessed from anywhere.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a simple solution for the user, the interface is friendly and easy to use. The system allows you to manage files safely and quickly, in addition to user permissions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a positive experience with Egnyte, there's nothing I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides file management, it allows us to accelerate the transfer of data without compromising the confidentiality of the same. It is an excellent system.

I would recommend it for storage and secure file management. It is worth using.
Store all records locally for all our presentations
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is simple to learn and use once items are explicitly marked. In case files are too big, I will link them in Arena PLM System to deposit and it will solve all my problems in a matter of seconds. For our clients ' confidentiality, it allows for password-protected file sharing, since one of our top priorities is to keep our customer's data and our company's information saved. Of course, it enables us to work with documents from anywhere we are.
What do you dislike about the product?
Usually, WebEdit problems occur because changes are not correctly rescued. It caused us to loose significant data which was not overwritten. Also, it isn't as subtle as I would like this WebEdit function. I don't believe the assistance from Egnyte could be too helpful at this moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte is used across our business to store all records locally for all our presentations. Here, everybody utilizes Egnyte at some point and in their own way. Since it was implemented in our business, it has solved the issues that we had with using an internal hard drive for all of our common papers, as this process was long and tedious. Now, it can all be done in a couple of minutes and we are confidence they will remain safe and will always be available for us to interact with them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think every growing company would get a great benefit by having a traditional file server as Egnyte and its cloud services, as it allows to eliminate all the hardware requirements.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the remote features of Egnyte, including their desktop sync tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some applications have trouble integrating, for example, some Adobe products.

What do you like best about the product?
We have had very few difficulties implementing Egnyte in the whole business, practically none. It is an easy choice for all digital storage requirements. The Desktop syncing is a feature that we couldn't live without, as the continuous synchronization implies that our systems have almost every recent versions of every document.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little more could be created for Egnyte's internet publishing features. Also, I would like to see more default file sharing connection names option and some options for drag and drop files, as right now you can transfer files only by continuing Menu.

Egnyte’s software is used all over the company. We were very disorganized before Egnyte was implemented for our digital storage requirements, which caused some difficulties for us. But after we deployed it, the process of file and folder sharing with customers has improved a lot, as it can now be used to work as an implementation or a network drive.

We use Egnyte to save any file that we want, from documents to graphics and photos with high resolution. it has completely supplied our use of Google Docs and Google Sheets, as Egnyte allows us to write a file concurrently with several individuals. Many alternatives are available and licenses are simple to possess. Additionally, it is quite simple to accomplish separate backup solutions and track modifications in papers. Egnyte is, as far as I am concerned, the leader for digital storage requirements.
