What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to maneuver, Able to set up easily

There are no downsides to using Egnyte.

The benefits of the easiness of setting up folders

What do you like best about the product?
All our data is stored and secured in the cloud, we can access all our files anywhere and locally we are not depending on an internet connection. All our files are synced and available for everybody.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not a cheap solution and the limit on standard users is a pitty. Now it is not possible to share files with customers via an account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Back-ups are now in the cloud. If our server is stolen, broken down, or anything worse happens. At least our data is safe. That is our main problem that is solved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It works much better than other services. The ease of having a local cloud is great.

What do you like best about the product?
Secure collaboration within the project groups but also being able to securely share specific files/folders outside of the group has made Egnyte along with Egnyte Sync and local NAS devices an elegant collaboration platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little to dislike. Some functionality issues with file locking and Egnyte sync, but able to overcome with procedural changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the title says we have multiple teams across different company networks being able to link Revit models and share data in almost real time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out the Egnyte Sync and your existing local hardware/servers.
As a consultant, I work with many cloud programs and the best experience I have had is with Egnyte.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Egnyte's ease of use, the index of all folders on the left side, the speed and simplicity of uploading and downloading documents, including very large folders, easy way to offer viewing rights to specific folders to outside parties and knowing Egnyte's folder and document security
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no bread crumb, or I have not found it. When pointing a colleague to a document in a particular folder, it would help if there was a bread crumb to copy. Example of a bread crumb: Documents\Folder 1\Sub folder 1\ sub sub folder 1, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte has solved our intra-company document repository needs and has made our internal team review of documents so easy.
Egnyte is a great platform for companies and the app is great!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the app the best and how you can upload files from your phone and scan them in directly into egnyte.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a couple of weeks, egnyte app was not workkng on my phone.

I am having a great time researching and uploading work onto egnyte.
"One To Rule Them All"!
What do you like best about the product?
Well for starters, I feel like its "part" of my Mac, iPhone and iPad all in one!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not really anything I don't like about Egnyte...other than "maybe", I wish it integrated with others sites and apps even more. But that is just my own opinion :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me be at more places than one! If I'm not at my office, I can be within seconds just by logging in either "online" or through the Egnyte Extension on my Mac (or apps on my devices)!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Egnyte is just as easy, if not easier to you than Google Drive or Dropbox...and just has many more features that "Work"!
Great file sharing service
What do you like best about the product?
I like having access to all of my companies files on my phone. The file sharing options are great, this service has made my company much more expansive. I also like the sync feature with my mobile and desktop. I like the security that is integrated I to the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike having to type in the domain name to login when I'm on my desktop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm sharing my files with my team. It is easy and effective
Good way to share info with whole staff
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte helps our whole staff easily share documents and projects. It's simple to use and effective. It's available from any computer, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to download and re-upload work done from home.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's much easier for us to access each other's work.
Great software
What do you like best about the product?
I Ike the way egnyte organizes our notes and billing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find egnyte difficult to use on my iPad while in the field. It is easy to use on my laptop, but crossing platforms is difficult.

Using egnyte does help keep all our information in one place that our coworkers can all access.

Great Success with Egnyte
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte Connect in conjunction with the Egnyte App have been a spectacular replacement for shared, in house storage in our high volume Real Estate office. Our users aren't tech savvy in the slightest but the app has provided them access to their listing photos for use on social media with a quick download.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost per active device with Egnyte Connect is a bit steep and has deterred us from setting it up on more than a handful of workstations. The web client upload/download process is a little much for our older real estate agents to wrap their heads around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an administrator the ability to query files stored in the cloud (using the web client) is far faster than what shared drives on windows offer. At a corporate level the cost to maintain servers for each real estate office in the company became a massive undertaking; Egnyte simplified the process and cut costs considerably.
