Excellent security, but low speed
What do you like best about the product?
The easy interface. The security options
What do you dislike about the product?
The slow speed transfer for 2gbs+ files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a safe way to send files to extremely cautious clients. We would not have keep them as a client without it. Also, the hability to send packages easily and pretty quickly most of the time.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple interface with its folder tree should be familiar to anyone who uses a desktop computer and is familiar with standard operating systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Opening up an office file within Egnyte to view or edit is a little slow.

Storage and access to files for remote teammates.

Be patient as the files load up

What do you like best about the product?
The Egnyte desktop interface is familiar for many since it has so many similarities visually to Windows file explorer. Due to that, the change over to Egnyte was pretty easy. Additionally, I like the version control feature on each document.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some file types are not supported on Egnyte at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, we had files stored internally and working remotely was more difficult because you'd have to go through a VPN and it was often time consuming and unreliable. Since switching over to Egnyte, working from home, especially during the pandemic is a lot easier. The app makes it useful also because you essentially have all your files on the go.

I like the ease of use for myself and our members.

There isn't anything I would personally change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows quick access for members to provide documentation needed for their mortgage transaction in a secure, digital way.
Best Secure Portal
What do you like best about the product?
Very secure portal for customers and techs to share and save. Easy to admin, lock down folders, share folders and assign rights to folder. Site has never been down in the 5 years I have been using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
times out to soon for me, but understand that is for security so not that big of an issue

Highly recommend Egnyte over any other secure document portal, very easy to manage and share. Easy to lock down folders and limit access and rights of users

What do you like best about the product?
The Egnyte platform provides an easy way to set up a cloud based file server for an organization where their employees are dispersed across a geography. It enables organizations to securely store their data in a central location, in the cloud, or physical location in a data center, or both. It also provides organizations with the ability to manage the data to ensure that it conforms to the standards and governance policies and procedures that they must adhere to.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about the product. Before Egnyte Protect was introduced you had to ensure that you had a means of backing up the data stored in Egnyte. Now that you can set retention policies, the solution ensures that the data is available and backed up if your turn on Egnyte Protect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Egnyte solves is providing an organization with a central file server in the cloud at a reasonable cost. This is great for organizations that do not want to install, maintain, and manage a file server in their data center. Eliminates the hardware, software, and management costs associated with a physical onsite server, and provides the organization with the benefits of a secure file server where file access and sharing can be managed easlity.

I have not run into any issues using this software.

Helps our team file share easily and it can be password protected for extra security.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte has a very friendly collaboration environment, as its interface is incredibly easy to use. Folder directories are easy to access. I like that we can share files through links.
I also like Egnyte because it can be integrated with Office and Slack.

There's not much I don't like, although Egnyte's Android mobile app sometimes takes time to sync files I delete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Egnyte we can share files both internally and externally in the organization in a fast and secure way. We previously shared files over the organization's network which was regularly slow, and sometimes there were errors such as file duplication.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a very complete platform that encourages collaboration in my work. It is an inexpensive and easy to use tool. I recommend Egnyte.
This is the best cloud based file share service we have ever used.

There are certain files that are unable to be stored on Egnyte. However, those files are very very limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One problem we have solved is having to replenish hardware that has become obsolete.
