Steep learning curve for slow adopters
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to password protect or to limit the number of users who can access a file.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm in an organozation with slow technology adopters. We emplemented Egnyte, but it proved too complex for some, and the laggards were alwaysbasking others to manipulatebtheit files for them. Egnyte was meant to make things easier and improve fole management. It even allowed some interesting marketing strategies we hadn't tried before, but ultimatley the company abandoned it because of poor adoption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte allows passwordnprotected files and likited access files so we could share files with customers in a gated way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your company needs protected file sharing solutions Egnyte works, but laggards will drag you down. If on the other hand you are just looking for cloud based file system. This seems to be over kill.
Egnyte is very useful and beneficial for any companies' use.
What do you like best about the product?
I like best the quick and easy upload button. Any document you have saved to your computer can easily be uploaded with one click. You may also schedule tasks to yourself to help assist you during your daily schedules.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no function that I dislike about Egnyte. I highly recommend companies to use this amazing tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte helps you retain document retention for easy view and access. Especially useful for going green, paperless.

very effective application for business team file sorting and collaboration. much less buggy than dropbox and much more reliable and versatile. this was clearly built with business users in mind.User friendly, easy to use, it would be nice if I could add a number at the end of photos automatically for files with same name
What do you dislike about the product?
It compresses photos that I upload. So much time wasted! It used to have the corresponding setting, but now since it has been removed, I assume there should be no compression
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Audio and video playback does not function unless screen is on and jumps back to the beginning if you the screen turns off or you navigate off the app. Very inconvenient and not practical. File organization and navigation is good. App login doesn't remember your password which is also a deterrent for quick access.

Egnyte does everything that I need it to and it is very user-friendly. I also like that I can set up alerts.

Mostly my dislikes come from improper usage of Egnyte by my coworkers.

I use Egnyte for file storage and sharing across world-wide teams. It is fantastic.

What do you dislike about the product?
When you do internet edits to a document it locks different users out of the document for some undefined time. If it's a oftentimes accessed document this may cause issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is no competition to Egnyte. I've used different competitors, however Egnyte's interface and its simple to use factor is what makes it superior. i'd advocate it over any of the opposite guys out there as a result of that is what my company uses and that is what works for us.

It is a must go product and every company should use this as its simple,affordable and very useful.
