Egnyte allow us to access all the file in single click and make our work very easier.
What do you like best about the product?
All the egnyte services are best and I like the file sharing option with the client.

Egnyte team needs to enhance the UI part and other functionality looks good.

The team managing documents through Web egnyte during WFH and help us to improve the productivity of daily work.

Yes, every organization should use egnyte for the security of file and in terms of productivity.

Everything just works well, it's a great server service.

Strong Tool for File Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
Frankly, the simplicity in its use. Makes sharing large files easy and secure. No need to worry about permission settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, based on my use, I would say there really is nothing i don't like about the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending larger files that would often clog or stop standard email platforms is one problem. Having the ability to share with the team is another.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider this first to save time and send bulky files.
Very unimpressed with Egnyte lately
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte allows me to save documents in InDesign that my art director can then put in layout form. It also allows me to save documents that can be shared with my editorial team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Egnyte is always failing and won't let me change the names of certain documents. It seems like every time I use it, the program has an error message!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to share editorial documents with my fellow editors and art director.

I recommend multiple logins and setting up Egnyte on every single work device.

What do you like best about the product?
Can be integrated with so many third-party apps! Also known for high security for our data. It's amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Windows File Explorer would show a status column on the Egnyte files. Similar to what is shown on OneDrive and Dropbox files with an icon representing if the file is available offline, cloud only, etc...

We're using it for cloud storage of our organization files. Amazing web interface that helps roll back old versions of files when necessary.

What do you like best about the product?
The display of information and the security. You can se the path to the document you are seeing, which is quite useful if you want to go back. I find very useful to mark the folders and have a quick access to them, since otherwise I would have to go through a long path to reach them.
You can upload sensitive information and be assured it is safe.
Also the possibility of editing a document by opening it directly in your desktop app (Word, Excel) and the fact that it saves all changes automatically.
On a simpler side, it is also useful to have a preview of documents, to be able to copy documents and to rename them.
Egnyte has also this feature where external peole can upload documents and internal people can see them in a folder. It is easy to submit since it onlya sks you for your name, email and company (optional), and for me it is easy to see the documents they submitted. In addition, these documents do not have a limit (for instance, 30mb), so we can receive videos, word documents, excel documents, pdfs, etc.

It is a bit hard to search for a specific document when the organization has many of them.

All documents are secured and the access is controlled. You can let people access just one document or a whole folder.
A problem I see is that if one person has forgotten to close a document on their desktop, others cannot edit.

Very secure and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
I link the secure links that users can send to external vendors. The military-grade encryption while being on the cloud is fantastic. As an admin, the offboarding of external clients and former employees is a few clicks away.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the downside is that it is not adopted everywhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the field of payroll processing, the ability to secure PII data is essential, and I think Egnyte solves that problem. Like I mentioned before, the ability to send a secure link down to the file instead of a whole folder is a plus. In addition, having the service cloud-based is excellent for reliability and disaster planning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a high-quality cloud-based solution for secure file sharing, then Egnyte is for you. I would recommend that your company have over 50 users or external customers deal with sensitive data.

What do you like best about the product?
While working remotely, Egnyte allows our team to access shared files easily. It also saves previous drafts/versions of files which has been key.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found much to dislike yet! Our team really likes using this.

Accessing earlier versions of files, collaborating on documents and reports, staying organized.
