What do you like best about the product?
Immediate mirroring of my critical files coupled with version tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any downside issues with Egnyte.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business continuity and file sharing. I can share massive files by emailing a simple link. Everybody can see the very latest version and the webedit function makes it even easier.
Secure cloud drive for enterprise use!
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte has a very intuitive UI and is privacy-focused. One of my favorite features is generating a unique, secure link that allows an outside user to upload sensitive files with peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
None that I can think of. I personally think the service is way better than Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox for work use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Egnyte, we were able solve the issue of how to store and upload files securely. It works very seamlessly with our team, as well with outside users we work with.

Speed and workflow to directory and files.

None. all is good. cool app... nothing to blame.

Professional Cloud File Server With rollback and security
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I do not need to save multiple versions of a document with different names because I can rely on Egnyte keeping the versions in case I want to compare or even rollback to a previous version. It's the best feature!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found a downside! It's better than any other file service I have used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to share files with clients from a professional website branded with our company name. And the security settings I can monitor who accesses the file and limit the time a shared link works.

Web-based and/or client-based...access from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the cost per seat was lower, and It looks like it is actually going up again this renewal.

Problems solved - Access to file shares without the need for VPN.
Experience is great, easy to use and convenient for our clients and company

I like how convenient it is for our subcontractors to get a hold of some files.

I dislike the Format of organization it can be more organized

Some of the business problems this program is solving is how to help our subcontractors access files without us sending them to them
Good but not so good clod platform

Reports section and protect section where all the data is displayed very good

Permissions and mapping of permission is not as good as other cloud providers and groups are also not that good

All the links and day-to-day updates of folders if you are an admin.
Makes switching work site super easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it appears on my computer as regular drives making saving and moving documents easy. Also with my home computer figured the same way telecommuting means no longer have to email docs to myself or carry flash drives. I can also log in from my phone for those questions that come up during lunch or away from office times. It has made things really easy. Also, I don't have to worry about the size or instability of the drives and recovery of documents is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
That there are certain functions, like sharing a document or a folder, that can only be done by logging in to Egnyte online.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits--increased productivity, increases the accessibility of documents to all staff, We got Egnyte about 6 months before the pandemic so it was a smooth transition to work from home.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are considering a cloud based solution, this is one that is extremely easy for the user to adopt.

I love that I can open files to edit on my desktop and share the changes with my team.

We used to have multiple versions of files saved in various places. Now we know exactly where to find the most up-to-date version of any file.

Ensure that all members of your organization use the tool and understand the benefits of having a centralized location for all files.
