Sophisticated enterprise scale cloud based file storage
What do you like best about the product?
Runs in the background syncing your files to the cloud. Takes care of data backup. Works across multiple devices. Online or offline access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Desktop client a bit clunky. Not always easy to edit a shared document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud based file storage means no more worrying about backing up laptop documents. Centralised management of all users. Works across multiple devices.
Very easy to use on pc and mobile
What do you like best about the product?
Once signed in the back up worked on things done on mobile and on pc as well, great if sync doesn't work properly for example on email accounts Egnyte just backs up the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was only thing I didn't like and that was that it kept signing me out of Egnyte on my mobile and sometimes it was but difficult to get back in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Back up of emails, documents and files. This is a thing which is really necessary for some industries as keeping the data is key for legal authorities and notified bodies.

Can't edit files in sync with other users; forced password change after 90 days

What do you like best about the product?
Ease to use and organize mass amounts of files within Egnyte. Desktop sync allows Egnyte to be easily accessible and doesn't get in the way of the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Locking down files only lasts for 7 days. There's no way for files to stay permanently locked down (read-only) state.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping everything organized and secure. Being able to quickly send my clients a secure link via Egnyte for any confidential information. My clients always appreciate the comfortability of sending files via Egnyte.

My organization uses Egnyte for general secure file sharing between clients, consultants, and suppliers. It's great for real-time transfer as files with the ability to edit at the same time.

What do you like best about the product?
Its easy and very intuitive to use - does not require a lot of training and support to get team members working and collaborating fast. It is also reliable with no real down time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be costly as the team grows and they are bundling new features that can not be customized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team members can access documents and collaborate as required on multiple devices anytime, anywhere. Flexibility of options.
Excellent file sharing and content management platform that keep getting better

Easy to use, has many integrations, and is reasonably priced.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching takes you down paths that are not directly reversed when you back up (i.e. you can travel into a folder and get to a file and then click the back button and instead of going up a level, to the folder for example, you return to a main/higher folder view and lose your search trail).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File storage and sharing, both internally and externally. Egnyte creates a useful source of truth for an organization - a single-point file storage solution that has solid security and access permission options.

working collaboratively in PowerPoint presentations using the Egnyte platform is not as robust/good as in Onedrive

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use for the file share and collaboration with native tools such as word and google docs.

I can't delete files, and it causes a mess.
