Good Product - Easy Synchronization
What do you like best about the product?
The desktop app is quite easy to use and syncs like a mapped drive. There is also the web-based portal which can be used if you do not want to install the desktop app. Fast uploads, ability to limit or pause uploads/downloads if you are traveling or limited for space.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are multiple cloud platforms available out there, and Egnyte doesn't do much to stand apart from Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive in terms of capabilities. I am unsure why I would choose Egnyte over any of the other ones. Some features that make it stand out from the competition would make it more attractive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using it as a file sharing platform. It is convenient to store all the documentation on the cloud. Benefits include being able to access files anywhere across the world.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Egnyte is a reliable platform to use for file sharing. I have not encountered any issues with accessing files at any time. There is the option of using a desktop app or directly the web portal through a web browser. Very good overall.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface of Egnyte is straightforward and user-friendly. Anyone can use Egnyte without any problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a little bit more time to upload some files. It's also on the more pricy side.

Egnyte provided Quarem with the most robust and secure environment.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is the first cloud-based solution that I've used that works seamlessly. It doesn't get in my way or slow me down. The desktop apps let me access files through the native OS interface. I can open Office files in my desktop apps for maximum productivity or open them in Office Online to collaborate with colleagues. It's also fast and easy to share URLs from the desktop - either direct links for colleagues or password-protected links for external people.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup of the desktop app on Apple Silicon computers requires some extra steps but is worth the effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Egnyte for saving all my work documents in the cloud, collaborating real-time on documents with colleagues, and sharing files with external stakeholders.

Efficient, reliable and easy to use storage solution
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Egnyte is how easy and natural it is to use while still having more advanced options. It offers a smooth, efficient and reliable user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I have found to be a slight inconvenience about Egnyte is that it lacks multiple shortcuts. Instead of having to use my mouse to click on individual buttons, it would provide for a faster experience if shortcuts/key bindings were introduced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the most basic level, Egnyte helps with file storing and accessibility within the organization. However, I also use it to effectively share large files externally that are well secured, encrypted and only accessible to those I give access to. I also really like being able to see multiple versions of one file without clogging the entire folder with different file names (version 1, version 2, final, final final and etc).
Great Cloud Storage Option
What do you like best about the product?
I like the advanced features for sharing links that cause money on OneDrive and Google but are free on Egnyte.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing Files on Egnyte need an additional addon on Egnyte, which is not required on Google Drive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files are accessible and appear secure with privacy options enabled.

What I like most is the ease of sharing files with people inside and outside the company

Sometimes it takes a while for the file we upload to egnyte to reflect on the computer's local network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of data sharing. The most significant benefit I see from the platform is the time savings because it's so fast and the connectivity.

This tool will make your daily routine more accessible, especially if you need to share files remotely and conveniently. I highly recommend it.
Egnyte is a convenient application for sharing document in our daily life.
What do you like best about the product?
The download speed is very quick, but sometimes, when I use Google chrome to upload documents on egnyte. I can not draw the paper directly from the desk to the online page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most parts of this application are excellent. But when I wish to share something with my colleagues who are out of my department, I select the "Copy the link" and paste it into my email, and I have to type expiry dates manually, the expiry information could be included in the "copy information."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing huge size documents is easy by Egnyte, and I could use my iPhone and iPad to read all documents online, which is quite helpful. And the share link has been divided into "direct link" and "outsider link with password" is good.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Is there any possibility of developing a one-time share module? Sometimes we have to share documents that we don't want to put into our open folder.

The UI is simple and intuitive and file collaboration was never so easy and quick

I would like to see a More search file option

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. There are multiple ways to do many of the steps I need to complete, opening password-protected PDFs, etc. I like that I can complete these steps in a multitude of ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could move a PDF and the folder it is in from the PDF screen. When I archive my PDF, I need to archive the folder too and it is an extra step to go back to the main folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers are able to submit password-protected PDF requests keeping their personal PII safe from inadvertent access ensuring the safety of our policies and our customers.
