Great platform for collaboration and cloud storage.
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is a fantastic cloud platform that allows all of our company's employees to access project files and information without relying on anybody else. I also enjoy how I can share certain file folders with clients. I enjoy the flexibility to access via the web, the Android app, and the excellent integration with Windows 10. Because Egnyte is immediately available in the file manager, you can effortlessly drag and drop files. Another fantastic feature is that when we scan from our Xerox copier, it saves it to the Egnyte disk. This is really useful since I can recover scans from any of our offices simply navigating to the Scan folder for that office.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main problem is saving the Access database to the Engyte folder. About once a week, Access says the database is corrupted. I keep my database on OneDrive and almost everything else on Egnyte. You may have problems releasing the file so that the client can upload the document. That's probably what I'm doing wrong, but I don't know what I'm doing. When that happened, I couldn't find a way to send a new link to the client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This solution addresses the issue of getting sensitive financial information from consumers. They may upload files straight to a folder in Egnyte that I have created. This saves me a lot of time, and if the files are posted to Egnyte, I don't have to download and save them from emails. I have a lot of reports in Excel and PDF format that we save on the Egnyte drive. These folders are accessible to all offices and make it easier to distribute papers without having to send enormous files.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I propose Egnyte as a secure cloud platform for file organization and sharing within a company, as well as file sharing and/or uploading from outside the firm. It may be configured as needed for files that are not shared within the firm, and external access for individual users' files/folders is totally up to them. Please contact Egnyte if you are unable to find a solution to a specific problem. They are really useful, and there are other similar articles on the internet where individuals provide answers to specific situations.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Egnyte implemented a new feature that allows you to display the document title in the URL. It makes it much easier to find files after a link has expired. It's also convenient to upload open files by dragging and dropping them into the Egnyte website. I really enjoy the option to transmit numerous links at once in an orderly fashion. I appreciate how you get the information ready to share, how you encrypt your files when you share them, and how you have a ready to use button. You can arrange your data using folders and share certain folders.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd want to be able to choose how long the connections remain live. I'm not sure if that's a feature, but my firm has disabled it. If it does not exist, it would be wonderful to verify if a link is valid for 7 days, 30 days, or more. We occasionally provide a pre-read to a customer more than a week ahead of time and must react to specific requests to resend if the link expires. Apart from that, I believe that the network does not always load quickly enough, as evidenced by several users, and that when we try to receive/download a file and it takes a long time to download, there is an issue with the server's download speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On a regular basis, I share files with my team and organize my work using folders, which allow me and my coworkers to discover certain files. It enables me to provide specific rights to the share, view, and edit modes. So that no one may access our files. Egnyte enables me to exchange huge files with clients without the need for specific file sharing permissions. Egnyte has also become an important internal tool for quick file exchange. It's especially helpful when we're working on a document; we can rapidly email each other new versions without having to set up a cumbersome OneDrive system to re-save files and archive old ones.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Egnyte is a fantastic file sharing application, especially if you operate in numerous places, with multiple customers, and with different technologies, such as Windows and Mac. Organizing by folders makes it much easier to work with yourself and your coworkers; keep your crap organized, and you'll be good.

One convenient online location, so it's easily accessed by employees no matter where they are located. For a small company, it is the most cost-effective cloud base system on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that when you open a document, you have to click another button to open it in Microsoft Office. I wish there was an option to have it open automatically in Word, Excel, etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer have to use offsite servers to store all of our files and employees no longer have to use a VPN to log into the servers. This is a huge savings no having to pay an offsite server company.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy and affordable it is to share all kinds of documents among peers
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating on the web browser is not always the best solution if you share large documents, but that is completely understandable

My team is scattered all across the globe. This, eradicates the need to be emailing files and enables better cooperation

What do you like best about the product?
They can offer on-premises storage that is replicated to the cloud for off-site sharing and collaboration. They also provide several connectivity possibilities with third-party companies such as Docusign, Teams, Trello, and so on. I like the WebEdit tool since it opens your file from within Egnyte, opens on your desktop, and saves to Egnyte automatically. Egnyte will seem like a dream come true if you've ever had to work from a VPN and suffered with poor internet. Working remotely is a joy with Egnyte since files are constantly at your fingertips, just as if you had stored them on your desktop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some management policies and settings are not applicable at the group level. There are a few more parameters that need to be tweaked. There used to be a desktop sync option that synchronized data straight from your desktop to Egnyte. It's a shame they don't have it anymore because you could work right from your desktop in your Egnyte folder and everything would sync.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files inside and outside your organization is very easy. Working remotely with other colleagues is seamless, as if you were sharing the same cubicle files at work. Egnyte makes working remotely more efficient. I can't imagine traveling for work and not having Egnyte. I always have everything I need and don't have to worry about not copying anything to my desk before talking to the client. Previous infrastructure did not allow files to be shared outside the network. I needed a cloud solution that provided LAN performance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a strong and vital tool for ensuring smooth cooperation both in the office and remotely. You always have access to your files, regardless of where you are or whether you have your computer with you. As long as you have access to the internet and a computer, you can always log in and get what you need. Inquire about "Connected Folders" for personal data, especially if the desktop is redirected to the network. Also, be sure to purchase any training packages - they are priceless, and the equipment is highly useful.

We experienced an issue with some old data recovery, and they worked the issue with us to make this data a full recovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have been very responsive to our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Through the integration with Outlook it's given us the ability to send download links with an email, this saves us precious time from having to send multiple emails to send large volumes of emails with their attachments to all parties on a given project or neededing to use a third party app to accomplish this same task.

The ease of using a program that helps you to store all your information and documentation in an organized way, simply amazing. Never had a problem with it.
