The best solution for secure storage in the cloud, very easy to implement.
What do you like best about the product?
Emailing a document to a colleague is easy. I like the ease of use and how quickly it integrates into the company. Migrating files to Egnyte is an easy process and has radically changed the way we collaborate. This software helped my organization complete deliveries on time, even when the pandemic hit us all. This is a very affordable software for managing, storing, sharing and backing up your data. The software's interface is so user-friendly that it's easy for everyone in your organization to access and understand. I like the ability to share files and documents stored in Egnyte. You can securely share files with people outside your organization. The best app I've come across when dealing with official documents, especially confidential documents. This app gives you the peace of mind that you won't lose anything with end-to-end security. It is also managed by a personal corporate server.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the most frustrating aspects for me is that uploading huge and heavy files to Egnyte takes a long time, even if they are simple to update and download once submitted. When uploading files, the program occasionally fails, and I must re-upload the file. Employees in my business who used Macs had difficulty installing and configuring the software, making it a time-consuming task. We frequently discover that when many users work on the same file in edit mode inside a project, numerous versions of altered files are produced until we quit the file and return later. One area in which it might improve is its web-based platform. It's functional, but it doesn't meet Microsoft Teams' requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize this technology to send large files in real time, establish project delivery trackers to receive real-time updates from field offices, and to monitor and provide live feedback to them. It is unquestionably a performance booster, and it is especially useful when teams are working remotely; project management is made so much easier with this tool. My favorite feature of the program is the ease with which I can safely share organizational data with others outside the company for formal purposes. The link to the files I provided expires after a certain period of time and requires a password to be accessed again. It also provides us with a large amount of storage capacity, allowing us to keep our information without concern of running out of space.

A platform that is highly recommended for project management teams that are trying to handle distant projects. The program provides a simple solution for safeguarding, storing, and sharing an organization's information. It has various faults and issues, but the benefits of using the program exceed the drawbacks. It is a highly useful piece of software that allows us to go about our daily lives without incident. It is a highly recommended instrument due to its affordable cost, and it comes with all of the required capabilities to help you market your brand on a huge scale. What do you like best about the product?
Very simple interface that fixes the gaps in other sharing solutions.

The cost. It's a bit pricey. We had a pretty good deal with our old solution, but you pay for what you get.

We needed a reliable robust solution to replace ShareFile. Egnyte filled that gap and more.

Take full advantage of all they have to offer with training, migration and support. Egnyte University is an amazing tool.

What do you like best about the product?
This FTP has most easy & suitable user interface. This makes this platform very user freindly. It has a great security. It produces new password every time when you create sharing link.
What do you dislike about the product?
User have to buy the license for its use. It gives you limited data storage at colud. So in case if we need large amount of storage, it may cost high. Need to buy the storage after a certain limit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are sharing our project files through Egnyte. We use Egnyte to send the project files in a very secure manner. This helps us to keep the non disclosing agreement.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be fantastic if Egnyte allowed many individuals to update a document at the same time, similar to Google Docs. This function would be really beneficial since if a colleague saves a paper with the same name, the document is instantly updated and the prior version is not saved, which is inconvenient when making changes. I also dislike the Word online interface because the papers I generate in desktop Word occasionally scroll and have wrong formatting when viewed in the online edition of Word. In comparison to other sites we've tested, we think the bonus payments are a little expensive.

The firm now has the option to work from home thanks to Egnyte. All of our files were previously saved on our desktop PCs until we discovered Egnyte. We can now collaborate from anywhere, and because we're all working from laptops, we can maintain all of our data in one place without having to transmit paper copies of things like we used to. We use it every day at work for all of our clients' projects since it's perfect for storing massive files in the cloud and viewing them from anywhere. What do you like best about the product?
I used Egnyte for more than 4 years in my previous job role, they had uptime of 99.9% and they kept the word. I have never seen the platform going downtime at all.
We had heavy data loaded in the system, I never saw any sort of slowness. I was able to get the job done in no time. I would say that they are the best content sharing platform out there with ease of file sharing and movement. Their directory structure is well organized and you could navigate through them easily without any hassle.

What do you dislike about the product?
Searching(basically indexing) of a document should be improved, at times I had felt that it doesnt have that edge over finding a document very quickly. Would love if they are bringing up features like daily reporting, scheduling and batch processing, etc. Overall the tool does wonders.

I mainly used it for confidential and protected information related document uploads. And those documents would be shared widely across clients and partners in a secured manner.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is an easy to use, cost-effective alternative to Dropbox. Document storage is easy, adding docs from email is simple, and the search function makes finding stored documents easy. I also like the ability to restrict access to outside users when sharing access.

Continued improvement sharing docs with outside clients, make sharing links a little easier. Also continue to improve the file tree storage.

Our employees work in different locations so all having access to the same docs is critical. We also work with some big files so emailing the docs is impossible. THis allows all employees to see the same docs in real time.

What do you like best about the product?
It has a high storage capacity, and because it is a software that is easy to install and use on any platform, it allows you to transfer data rapidly with a very sophisticated loading time, not to mention that it has an excellent interface. The quantity of information that can be kept and updated in real time, as well as handled with a wide group of employees in a firm, has been the most beneficial to me in Egnyte. I particularly enjoy that I can connect Egnyte to my desktop and use it in areas where there is no Internet connection, such as airports and coffee shops. Egnyte is also very beneficial in our work since it allows us to work on the same document while keeping track of modifications and the dates of these changes.

We may add that when we move to a remote mode, the upload of huge files within a region of high capacity is limited, which can be problematic and create failures of significant proportions since it can become a problem in enormous magnitudes. I also dislike the fact that if it is not connected to your computer's disk, you must download the program in order to make changes in real time.

Egnyte is the main file storage for the entire organization, as it is a large company with virtual provisioning because it uses this software because it allows you to share documents internally as if you were working in the same office. In a server environment, it's worth mentioning that you can solve many of the problems your system encounters and work efficiently on a daily basis. Egnyte helps solve knowledge management problems. It's very easy for anyone in the company to access the file, without having to send it to anyone or give them permission to edit it. With Egnyte, members can find all the documentation and information they need, as long as someone has already uploaded the file. Egnyte allows you to organize all the different files in your project and increase memory. This turns out to be a big advantage of this software.

Egnyte is suitable for internal communications when we refer to a company since members of these establishments can share information in a unique and totally easy way, even it is also perfect for securely storing all the files it contains online. When using Egnyte make sure you do a very specific organization of your files and projects. Since the software allows you to upload a huge amount of information, take advantage of and organize everything as best you can. It is also very useful to connect your C:// to Egnyte so you will have access to all the files on your computer, whether you have Internet access or not.
