We have nothing negative to say about Egnyte. its control over data sharing and location sharing protects against internal and external threats. less cost and complexity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Relief of client computers, remote access, collaboration without version conflicts, convenient file sharing, high clarity, and easy organization of the entire file.

Management could be a little better to make things easier for the employees.

Making software development easy with great quality and cost-effective.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very helpful content management tool with benefits for all in one platform. Storage of the data with a maximum size of 100 GB. Integration of the third-party software is very much compatible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing the data from the cloud and remote server is very much critical and also it is not able to manage the data from one server. Sometimes privacy can be out breached from the internal systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data can be visually viewed in the dashboard and it can be managed by data governance and data security. Data can be encrypted and decrypted using the specialized tools in the Egnyte.

I like that I can share documents securely with people outside of my organization

Sharing can be a challenge if the person doesn't have an account.

It allows me to share secure documents with my members and vice versa.
An efficient and but slightly higher priced cloud drive for businesses
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that the syncing is so seamless. Some of the small utilities like file locking which makes it easier to collaborate especially in remote working environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price vs benefits is still a concern. While Egnyte is efficient, some of the competitions offer more at more competitive rates. Pricing if made more affordable, especially for small and medium businesses would be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte helped my organisation work remotely in close quarters especially during the initial run of remote work due to the pandemic. It allows
the organisation to collaborate and share files, securely and some of the features like file locking may seem counterintuitive but helps keep memory spent under check and double work.

The data is maintained with security before sending to the destination.
Easy access for file sharing with encryption algorithms such that confidential data is sent without any security breach.

I think they have improved visually. It now looks more pleasing to the eye.

Believe the same still applies. Without internet we cannot proceed.

With businesses shifting globally to more or a work from home model, this is now more than ever required for work documents to be accessed securely.

Ease of moving around files and filing them appropriately.Egnyte allows me to easily keep track of file versions and send the location of those files for review without worrying about making duplicates for different audiences

I haven't found a downside yet, the price not only depends on users but also on the storage used

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte's interface is very user friendly. I used it for transferring some files to a client. It provides an option to password protect the file so that only the person have password can access the files.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not such thing which I dislike about Egnyte. It will be great if there will be an option available to provide markups or comments on the file directly on Egnyte.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier I was using some other mode of file transfer which does not allow me to protect my file. Egnyte has a great feature to generate the password for any file link. Anyone with the password can only access the files through that perticular link.
