Egnyte has so many great ways to store and share data on the cloud
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can share my documents and see the access history, add expirations to the links, and personalize the invitation web name.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's less known than other storage solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even after sharing documents, you can update them, and the link will still work. Love that feature.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte makes it easy to work with remote colleagues on the same files without conflicts, writing over changes, etc., and the version history is great extra protection against losing any work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The two different Egnyte products we use (Desktop Sync and the Desktop App) occasionally make it confusing to know if one of them is stalled out. I have been in the situation where it appears that my files are synced only to find that I was viewing the notification for the wrong product. This can sometimes result in having to reapply updates/changes/additions to avoid overwriting changes made by another team member.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte solves the issue of having to rely on Windows file recovery to revert to previous versions of files. Egnyte's history is robust and easy to access, and I appreciate the ease of searching and finding not only the files I need, but the revision history is available at a glance, complete with the detail of which team member updated the files.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature with Egntye is the quickness with which I can upload files into the platform. Also, generating shareable links is very simple and straightforward. Also, creating private folders is possible, which gives a lot of security
What do you dislike about the product?
The entire platform's User Interface is very simple. This can be enhanced to make it more attractive. But apart from that, I do not have any other complaints about Egnyte.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The admin control setting is very beneficial, especially while sharing files. Our entire file-sharing process has been made much more secure with the introduction of Egnyte.
Great platform for sharing files
What do you like best about the product?
One of the upsides of using Egnyte is that we can easily share files, update the necessary content, and upload new files. Large file sizes can also be easily shared and uploaded, which is very useful. Being a cloud platform, we get excellent security of our files with encryption too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I do not have any significant dislike for Egnyte. It is a great time-saving tool and helps us improve our overall efficiency. The technical support could be a bit quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the main business problems that have been solved for us by Egnyte is sharing multiple files with different formats internally and between clients. Also, the process is very quick with Egnyte

It is very easy to use, self-driven instructions

if there is a way to add my life/color to the UI
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it resolves to share files in a secure way; most companies IT will not allow sending a .zip file or exe file in an email. This makes it easy to upload and download files
Egnyte is great for file storage and transfer!
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Egnyte for years now. I have been happy with our ability to streamline the transferring of documents and the ease to add new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use Windows browser to access Egnyte since the online version is a little cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the construction industry, we have both upstream and downstream partners, Engyte allows us to easily control the flow of information in both directions.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can view files on my computer like on any drive whether I'm in the office or anywhere in the world without any special logins as long as I have internet.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure why, but some clients reported that when I send them Egnyte links, they are blocked, perhaps that's because of their firewalls or security systems and I wonder if Egnyte can investigate that is why some security protocols don't allow users to open Egnyte links.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving:
- the need for flexible storage
- the need for flexible redundancy between on-premise server and cloud (hybrid system), ensuring our files are safe and protected against power outages, accidents, etc.
- the need for security (power users, standard users, send links externally with passwords/expiry, etc.)
- mobility as I travel a lot and need to stay in touch with the team and share files.
- upload files and photos from any device anywhere.

I like the funcitonality to allow you to share links but only for a limited amount of time
