For saving company files and share with same team easily

Overall it is easy, and no need for training or other support; just create folders and work

Secure and Simple
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is great for our agency because it's a secure platform, but it also allows us to easily share documents and folders with clients as needed for collaboration and reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
Egnyte has a great feature to request file uploads from other contacts without requiring a login, but the trickiest part is the contact then being able to see what materials they've already uploaded. There doesn't appear to be a simple way to have varying folder setting permissions with outside users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte allows us to have a central location for all of our documents with easy version control, folder structure, share capabilities, and confidence that the information is secure.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte has an excellent user interface. It's super intuitive to manage file organization, copy/move/upload files, and keep track of version history. The desktop app is super fast and integrates seamlessly with the web app. I've never had problems saving data files directly to Egnyte drives.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only feature that I can think of missing from Egnyte is a way to co-edit files, especially those from Microsoft suite. Folks have to close out their file and save before someone else can work on them, and there isn't a clear way to keep track of this handoff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte is solving data storage and file sharing for my organization. I am able to save data files collected from instruments directly to Egnyte, and use it to collaborate and share files.

The file storage and file lookup is great. When searching for a file you are not limited to a filename only. The search engine searches within the files for key words

Not really meant to be a Document Control system. If you are needing documentation controls, this may not be the system for you.

An okay software
What do you like best about the product?
It's a pretty secure way to protect and secure cloud files and data. It protects your privacy from attacks.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't had any issues. The only thing I think that could be an issue is not knowing what happens should a security breach happen.

It helps secure and encrypt data.
Best cloud based file sharing platform

Very easy interface and main thing is the data you are uploading for sharing with clients is fully secured and password protected.
You can manage passwords for each file and folder.
You can rename files even after uploading or sharing.
You can customize auto generated password for shared folders.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am using this from last 3 years there is nothing much to dislike just sometimes this platform is working very slow.
And I am not sure but there is no option for reviewing uploaded files directly over the platform, for review you have to download the files.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me Egnyte is solving a very big problem that is sharing large files with clients on gmail we can share only 25 mb large files but I am working on revit and my files are is gb so by help of Egnyte we can easily share large files and it is password protected also so unwanted person can't access as well.

Enhance the admin console. Create different plans.

Clean, cohesive, easy-to-use file storing & sharing software
What do you like best about the product?
I like Egnyte's ability to easily share links to files with individuals inside or outside the company. The usability and layout is easy to learn and manage as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only unsolvable issue I've had with Egnyte was with editing a file then re-saving it back to Egnyte. I've gone through three different Egnyte support reps who were all very helpful, but none could figure out why my files would try to open through WebEdit, then give an error message and not be accessible anywhere. I have to download the file each time, edit it, then re-save it with the same title to get around this issue. This is a minor inconvenience I've gotten used to, and other than this, I've had no issues.

Egnyte helps keep all our files is a central location and makes sharing of these files between coworkers and clients easy and seamless. It keeps files secure and organized.
