User-Friendly Dashboard and Remote Access to Company Data
What do you like best about the product?
Very user-friendly dashboard, website is well-made and maintained, and they solve every issue we had.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main super-folder (Shared) is unmodifiable, and they push AI features too hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote access to all our files instead of employees needing to remote into their desktops using a VPN, and the peace of mind of security knowing that our files are no longer on-prem and safe from disasters.
Seamless Collaboration and Effortless Content Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
This platform offers a common data environment with all the necessary functionalities, making collaboration with stakeholders on documents seamless. Sharing content is straightforward and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application does not support opening 3D file formats, and there is no option for 3D collaboration. This limitation makes it less suitable for projects that require working with 3D models or collaborating on 3D content.

General use of Egnyte
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the co-editing of documents in Egnyte, as it is often necessary for multiple users to edit documents at the same time, and this tool is very useful for that. I also value the electronic signature because it allows documents to be validated and ensures they have not been edited after being signed. And the initial setup of Egnyte was easy to perform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The process of adding watermarks to document printing is cumbersome and does not work with all browsers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte allows access to documents from different devices and co-editing with other users. The electronic signature ensures the validity of the documents, guaranteeing that they have not been modified after signing them.

UI interface needs updating. It feels old.

Reliable Cloud Storage, Exceptional Versioning
What do you like best about the product?
I find Egnyte incredibly useful for managing project files at work because it allows us to save everything to the cloud seamlessly with its desktop connector. This way, I never have to worry about losing my files due to any issues with my computer. I am particularly impressed by Egnyte's capability to save multiple versions of a file, which is a unique feature I haven't seen in other software. This has saved my company time on numerous occasions by allowing me to easily revert to previous versions of a document if needed. The seamless access across multiple devices, whether from a personal computer or a mobile phone, is another aspect I love as it ensures I'm always connected and can access everything on the go. Additionally, the setup process was straightforward and user-friendly. I appreciated the Egnyte Academy, which provided a valuable and efficient overview of the software, helping me discover features I might have otherwise missed. Overall, Egnyte is my favorite file management software because of its intuitive setup, stellar functionality, and the peace of mind it offers due to its robust cloud-based storage solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a minor annoyance with Egnyte where I have to reauthorize it after a browser system update. This issue seems to arise because Egnyte might be primarily designed for PCs, while I use a Mac. Fortunately, this inconvenience only occurs once every month or two.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Egnyte to ensure all work is cloud-stored, allowing safe, device-agnostic access and easy team file sharing, easing transitions. It saves file versions, protecting against accidental overwrites, streamlining daily operations while preserving our digital assets.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is niche specific tool to increase security of your IT premises and provide efficient data files management system. Egnyte as file management system is capable for connectivity to all modern vendors both sharepoint and data storages and represents full scale modern content management system. Egnyte offers service either for large files cashe processing.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are on the way to complete implementation but the core limits are that some ransom features are already included in Defender capabilities however Egnyte can provide awesome tool to protect personal lap tops of our engineers. Egnyte is a bit expensive for small or mid sized businesses but reliable data management tool can be worth of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are on impelentation phase to manage via content cloud the repositaries of our engineering projects with aim of creating of supervision function and reporting of file use and team collaboration.
Quick and Easy File Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of access and ease of sharing files. Duplication Error is a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything specific that stands out. However, I would prefer if clicking on a file opened it in a new window. This way, I could easily return to the folder without needing to close the open file first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte has been useful for securely sharing confidential data with our bioanalytical vendors. Additionally, our vendors have not raised any concerns about using the platform.

I find Egnyte incredibly valuable for file sharing and ensuring file security, which is crucial in our line of work. One of the features I appreciate the most is the platform's ability to allow easy collaboration with my coworkers. The live update capability enhances our productivity as it allows us to seamlessly work on files together without delays. Its compatibility with Microsoft Excel online is another highlight for me because I am already familiar with the software, which makes the workflow smooth and efficient. Moreover, I value Egnyte's strong security protocols, despite the occasional challenge they pose, because they give me confidence in the safety of our shared files. The ease of setting up Egnyte for our team was also noteworthy, making the transition from using email for file sharing a seamless process. Overall, Egnyte's combination of robust security, ease of collaboration, and user-friendly setup makes it an indispensable tool for our team.

I find the security measures in Egnyte sometimes too robust, which makes it difficult for me to access my account. It's a struggle to manage when the security is so tight that even as a legitimate user, I encounter hurdles in logging in.
