Simplifies file sharing and folder management coupled with smooth collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
Would term egnyte as a powerful cloud storage solution with excellent collaboration tools. Priced at a resonable position, egnyte gives you features which are at par with it's best market competitors. Easy to install app and easy to understand and adapt. The trial version pretty gives you an idea of all the features available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing files with over a 100mb might be slower in terms of upload/download experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get cloud storage options at best rates. Integration options too are available easily. File upload experience have been a smooth experience even with low network connectivity.
Use for work on a daily basis.

Easy to use. It's easy to access and navigate to find or send files to clients or co-workers.
What do you dislike about the product?
When searching for a file because I don't know the name of the document it doesn't always find it.

What do you like best about the product?
As a reviewer and a heavy user, I gotta say, Egnyte isn't your grandma's cloud storage. It's got all the security features of Fort Knox, but with way less chance of you getting lost in a filing maze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alright, so Egnyte definitely keeps your data safe, maybe a little too safe. Sometimes I feel like I need a decoder ring and a top-secret clearance just to access a spreadsheet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. File Sharing Chaos: Gone are the days of endless email attachments and confusing version control. Egnyte keeps everything organized and accessible in one secure place. No more hunting down the "final_final_v3_really_final.docx"!
2. Security Nightmares: Data breaches are a constant worry. Egnyte's robust security features give me peace of mind. My files are encrypted, access is controlled, and I can even track who's viewing or editing them.

What do you like best about the product?
That when I drag and drop files it over rights the previous file.

I do not really have an answer for this.

What do you like best about the product?
i like how when given access to a file folder, you are able to easily copy it, move it, or rename it -- it's really helpful when communicating across different departments at work or to just drop and send a file to a coworker
What do you dislike about the product?
one thing that could be improved is how when you view a file in its entiretly and you opt to go back to the main file, it refreshes the entire page and you have to scroll down to find the file you were viewing once again. i understand that it's helpful to refresh in case someone else edited something at that same time, but sometimes it ameks working on egnyte super tedious when i need to quickly view a picture and rename it

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte makes file sharing easy, especially on mixed networks (PC and Mac). The software mounts the drive, making it very easy for users to quickly access their data, including sharing options and working offline. I'm also very happy with the built-in security features and the additional Secure and Governance tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
My major issue with Egnyte is their split support for Macs. They have the original Egnyte Desktop and a new Egnyte Core app - to deal with some security issues within macOS, however, they keep updating each, and in my experience, you can't have both in the same network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte has allowed a lot of my clients to break free of the traditional vpn/fileshare and allow everyone to work from wherever. Quick access to files on all devices (including iPhones) has supercharged the organizations I'm helping really have quick access to their data and workflows.
They charged 10 additional users without my knowledge or approval
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using this product for about 11+ years paying over $ 500 a year just to access my files (way less than 1 TB) when I want, for convenience. This year they charged me $ 1600+ without informing me. When I called them, they claim that I am accessing the file from different machines?

When I put files on cloud you expect me to just access them from one machine?
and they do not want to refund the money for additional users they charged.
I am moving away from these unethical people. I could get the cloud storage accessible for free using google drive, the reason I still kept paying them was it was affordable and I was used to it. They are outrageously greedy and unethical in their business practices.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unethical in business practices, do not inform customers and charge whatever amount they feel like when it is time for renewal. Be aware of these people.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Egnyte on the web browser. I can easily search my entire database for my photos or documents and Egnyte will quickly pull the results. I also enjoy the collaboration options that Egnyte allows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the desktop app takes a while to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can keep all company information under one drive that employees can easily access.
