Great for Endpoint security and tracking.
What do you like best about the product?
Custom policy setup and script library for both mac and windows.
What do you dislike about the product?
No DLP and Secure Web Gateway included with the pack rather a separte purchase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can eaisly track device geolocation and integrate with the email services for alerts tracking.

The ability to control a device off the cooperate network apply scripts and patches as needed with its tools.
Using absolute has allowed us to retrieve our devices more quickly and get the attention of employees who don't read emails.

Absolute secure allows us to set a baseline for our devices on what must be on them.
It provides reports and information on device that fail the baseline and attempts to automatically resolve them

Absolute it is a great solution that quickly gives an overview of the location of your equipment and allows you to send some instruction for special needs

In some cases it gets some bugs in the first deployment and need to do a double check of the installation

Everything works and it is easy to use. So far no complaints on the product.

Keeping up with devices and the ability to freeze and locate devices is a great feature.

What do you like best about the product?
I would say one of the best features in Absolute is the asset management and asset scoping that Absolute provides, along with the remote wipe feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of my dislikes would be how limited the templates formatting features are for frozen devices.

Data Protection. Freeze and Data Delete helps on protecting data on mobile devices. It also helps asset inventory

The management of teams in the tool and the security we can provide for the equipment in any circumstance, that is, to prevent information theft, theft, or loss of hardware.

Have more control over the licenses, that is, be able to assign the licenses to a project.

It has helped us keep computer equipment secure regarding the change of peripherals, and in cases of theft, it has helped us with the total blocking of the equipment to prevent misuse of information or to allow the user to have control over their equipment.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple, effective and incredibly easy to use. Provides very detailed information regarding what applications are executed/installed on a system if you have the additional licensing tier for additional security features and reports
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative I can think of is the deployment documentation using your preferred MDM solution is abysmal. Zero documentation on how to deploy using Intune, Jamf or any other industry standard MDM solutions. We have been on our own, and Intune deployment was a breeze, but we have had more than our fair share of issues deploying this to our MacOS fleet via JAMF. We still do not currently have a solution, and we have not had any meaningful interactions with support, other than 'we do not support with MDM deployment'.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed the ability to lock down workstations remotely, and securely. Other products were able to log users out, but not keep them logged out. This was due to our fleet being Azure AD joined instead of on prem domain joined; not many solutions support AAD and lock out functionalty. Absolute is able to bypass the issues other solutions have because it leverages the built in TPM chip from the factory.
