What do you like best about the product?
An absolute overall solution provides great asset recovery abilities at its core. However, the power lies within the ability to manage devices and applications on the endpoints as well. Absolute was a blessing for our company during covid as it allowed us to distribute some needed items as well as track assets
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not many things at this point that we dislike about our absolute environment. Like with any product it does take time to have staff wrap their hands around the powerful tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absolute is solving several problems for our organization. First is the basic asset recovery, from lost or stolen property. With the added benefit of device freeze or data wiping to ensure sensitive data is not disclosed. It has helped us to determine the travel of our devices and time off and on the network. During covid, it empowered us to push needed applications and policy off the network. The overall piece of mind with persistent application ability ensures our endpoints are always protected and self-heal

Remote wipe, freeze and proof of evidence. Support and assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think we cannot download PDF in bulk after a bulk remote wipe

It does what is says it can do and if you need help they are always there to asssit.

The reporting and options are in two diff locations and its kinda confusing on where to find stuff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With users being remote and VPN not always working, this software ensure the correct software and windows update are always in place.

What do you like best about the product?
Streamlined approach for data organization. The software constantly improves policy and security compliance within our school district. Excellent device management and system information tools
What do you dislike about the product?
User customizable features are somewhat lacking. We are unable to add graphs and chart compliance as well as set alerts for frequently visited sectors. Would love to see features related to contact tracing or messaging wthin the application.

Freezing and monitoring device compliance. Security and updates and reporting

Take time to explore this great product with all of the streamlined features. Manage clients and review compliance seamlessly.
Absolute gives excellent control over enterprise assets
What do you like best about the product?
I often use Absolute to check current IP connections, serial numbers, agent status & in the event that there is a missing asset- I can 'freeze' it to protect data integrity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found a feature I do not like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems solved: up-to-the-minute IP information, locating lost assets and retrieving serial numbers to coordinate warranty repairs. One major benefit I like is searching AD usernames and finding the last logged-on computer for the associated user.
HTML is the universal technology for rendering the websites in to the browser and applications.
What do you like best about the product?
HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language which is universally used for website rendering and UI design.
I like this technology because this is so easy and professionally productive. And also there are other things i like which are mentioned bellow.
1. Easy to learn and easy to use.
2. We can design responsive design for different sizes of screens and devices.
3. There are too many features which reduce your effort and work to your project and design.
4. I like some new features which are really awesome,
a. Data list : which is a drop down type input box where we user can search for the value among the given list. Which skips too many coding and efforts.
b. Tool tips : This is so easy in HTML rather than XML and other application design technology.
c. Media support : It supports images, videos, audio video, documents etc to include in design.
d. Flaw less content editing : HTML content editable that helps you edit content quickly and easily. This can help in taking advantage of local storage and various other uses.
5. HTML can be use with multiple programming languages which makes it universal for web application design. Example it can be used with PHP, ASP DOT NET, JAVA, PYTHON, JAVA SCRIPT, RUBY etc.
So learning the HTML not gonna be wasted any how.

Nothing is dis likeable for HTML , in fact this made the web application designing effortless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for web application as well as web view in mobile application, also using HTML for dynamic design on a particular section of Apps. This is so helpful for changing the design of mobile app from back end API service and we do not need to touch the code and do not need to re build the mobile application.

I like all the new features added on HTML version 5. Which has some built in features which makes the web designer and developer happy and satisfied.

2. The tags which makes the design and code clean example: aside, header, footer, section etc. That helps to make your design in a good and standard way.

You are thinking to design and develop website / web application the you have to learn HTML 5 at first. This is so easy to learn and so easy to build a nice user interface for website and web applications.

Perfect for a remote workforce!
What do you like best about the product?
The feature that I use the most is the ability to freeze an asset and display a message. This can be done instantly or if in default of a geofence that I am able to create. I also really like that it is not able to be removed from the device because it is embedded in the firmware itself. I really like that the administration page opens up directly to my dashboard which instantly tells me most of what I need to know at a fast glance. Then it is a really quick search to either get a list of all my assets in one location or to find one specific item and really drill down into it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that some of the reporting allowed for a little more customization. For example, exporting a list of assets includes preset columns that I wish I could add to. I also wish that there was the ability to change the average user interaction from 30 days to a smaller increment. My IT team has found it a little difficult in the past to decomputrace a computer prior to returning it for a lease end but it is that exact same issue that also makes it a great product because even the administrative users have a difficult time so the bad guys will too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to know where my assets are regardless of VPN connectivity or not and I can also keep very close tabs on all of my firm's data stored on those assets. My entire workforce is now remote during the pandemic response and I have much better insight to the health of these assets, how and when they are being used, and who is using them. My ability to provide reporting to the leadership of my firm has been supplemented with Absolute data and it really provides the solid metrics that they are expecting from my team to be able to make hard management decisions.
Managing Assets in Private Healthcare
What do you like best about the product?
One of the most difficult responsibilities for Healthcare IT is managing computer assets with a mobile workforce. Often times, private healthcare does not understand the security requirements or costs associated with this responsibility until there is a need. Absolute provides the level of management and security necessary to be compliant. It is easily rolled out, doesn't require extensive expertise to deploy or manage, and has been invaluable on more than one occasion where a compromise was averted due to Absolute. As a CIO for a healthcare group that covers several states, Absolute is invaluable to our IT operations. I highly recommend it to any small or large business that needs a complete security solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any negative experiences with Absolute.
