The features offered by Absolute make it a competitive & comprehensive enterprise security solution
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to remotely track and manage devices across all networks make this a powerful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some legacy features in the console are useful but not longer available. This should be resolved in later versions though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asset tracking and remote wipe/freeze capability. Software installation and health management.

Make sure you keep your software is updated

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is unparalleled, very valuable tool; we use it everyday at my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
MY only complaint was the admin UI which has since been revamped; NO COMPLAINTS
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the issue of motivating released employees to contact our IT dept. to coordinate equipment return, the canned message when freezing serves to enact this process and works wonderfully. We have found that this significantly decreases rogue assets.
Perfect for tracking 1000s of assets
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to lock down or unlock a computer. This used to be handled by one person - now with the ability to do this a minute myself, I’m saving tons of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much! The new upgrade involved some growing pains, but nothing too bad.

The ability to have my team lock down or unlock computers
Reliable Asset Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Accurate device check-in info. Tracking of last username and IP to sign in. Built in maps display estimated location of device.
What do you dislike about the product?
Load times can be long signing in and searching for specific devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Major benefit -- Absolute serves much like an insurance policy for our devices. Should a device get stolen, simply provide Absolute a police report and they will either recover or replace the device.
Great product and customer service!
What do you like best about the product?
Customer service. Very cooperative. They go above and beyond. They scheduled a monthly sync up with us to keep us informed about product updates and to address any issues we experience. They also schedule one-off meeting to address specific issues as they occur. One of their engineers is working with ours to help us customize our integration with Service Now. We may also start using Absolute's reporting for software more in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some reporting issues. Some Lenovo serial numbers appear in a strange format which causes some issues. There are some duplicate entries in our console that consume licenses. They are working with us on correcting these issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing devices that have been stolen or lost. We use the freeze and remote wipe functions regularly. This keeps our data secure. We also use the freeze on devices that aren't lost but are overdue for return to headquarters.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely recommend Absolute. The ability to freeze and wipe devices remotely is huge. Their customer service is excellent.
Whatever shortcomings there are, they are overshadowed by the benefits. Also, our issues may be specific to our company.

What do you like best about the product?
I can track any device no matter where it is. It provides reports easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is that sometimes you are unable to track devices due to moving from one database to another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of users and devices being utilized. How many licenses are available. It provides reports of devices that have not been utilized in various time frames.

The satellite pictures and all of the details.

Sometimes too many clicks to get to what you want.

Ability to locate devices. The amount of recovered devices.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it on for size and I believe you would want no other.
We can easily secure our assets by freezing them when a laptop needs to be returned to us.
What do you like best about the product?
The security features are what we like the most. We feel more at ease knowing we can perform a data wipe or use the freeze command if an asset is lost or stolen. The support and follow up we receive from Absolute is great.

I really can't think of anything I dislike regarding Absolute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Covid and everyone working remotely, we have benefited from using the freeze command when someone leaves the firm. We can lock down the pc and provide instructions on the screen for what they need to do with the laptop.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would consider this product if you are looking to manage your assets remotely. With the security and scripting features you have total control all the time.
