What do you like best about the product?
The great usability. I like how easy it is to navigate.

Not really anything. I really like everything about this app.

Helping us to solve issues with protecting machines from being stolen, and with knowing where machines are at any given time.

I needed the ability to ensure my devices are running our security software. Absolute covers me.

I've only been using this for a short time. No complaints yet.

We needed a way to remotely lock PCs. We love the ability to ensure our security software is running.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Very powerful software that is invaluable to our IT posture. The ability to reach out and wipe a device or locate a stolen device is tremendous in our current environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Troubleshooting devices that do not connect could be easier - with more information from the test call tool than "session". Dashboard could give more information, or have more widgets to choose from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using reach scripts has proven to be a great tool. Sometimes Absolute is the last lifeline to a device.

Highly recommend. No one does what they do better.
Absolute visibility into your endpoints
What do you like best about the product?
I like the level of detail that Absolute provides. The data that is available has allowed us to see what computers have on them such as software and versions, as well as how they are being used. I also like the ability to push out Powershell scripts to endpoints.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've already created a request for them on this - but their reporting ability is.....lacking. They have a good amount of pre-canned reports, but your ability to create your own reports is non-existent. For example I wanted to create a report that shows how often people are using their computers, unlocks, logins, etc. All data is that shown within the UI. However after talking with our rep. I was told the only way to get this into a report would be to request it so that it could be created by their developers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Endpoint tracking. This is becoming increasingly important as our workforce has been working remotely. Without some program to track it, you have no idea what people are doing on their computers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While the software is great, sometimes getting data out of it can be difficult. I have submitted a couple of tickets to them requesting that the Reporting aspect of the tool be made better. They have a few canned reports that you can create/export, but do not have the ability to create your own. To have a new report created requires them programming it on their end. So be prepared that if you want reports created based off Absolute data, it may have to be done manually.

sometimes the install fails to register with system, we have to manually install the client. Not seemless

Secure our data in case of missing/lost devices

This system for us has been innovative since it has allowed us to protect our information and keep us notified of our devices since the system maintains protection for both mobile devices or our computer, we can configure the service to keep each one unified, in this way we will receive notifications of any movement that is suspicious on our mobile devices, whether in downloading or browsing the web, the system is very complete and is detailed for security.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system is very complete and I love the way in which we can associate it with the company without any inconvenience, however many features need to be improved among those notifications, although it works, it is not extremely constant since it notifies only if the service is in second flat or if the service is open so it is a failure that must be improved and notified at any time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us, the system has allowed us to solve crucial problems, it allows us to maintain continuous protection in our devices, we have managed to keep our computers and mobile phones clean, maintaining constant protection, managing to navigate in a safe and encrypted way, has worked and we have noticed this functionality because we have not had problems when browsing or sending documents everything is kept safe.

The system works, the tools are simple and can be easily coupled, the protection functionalities are continuous and avoid any loss of information, which is essential for any company and that is why we recommend it to other users. continuous protection system.

html5 brought us use of audio and video tags which helped us implement media on our websites using html5

some things are new which if learned will be very helpful

Interface is clean. Works as intended overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
It hasn't been determined if unfreezing devices not working is on our end or yours - sometimes it takes 5+ attempts for a call to agent to properly work. Again, it could be on our end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping data secure if stolen has been crucial using Absolute. It can also help us determine if it's simply just lost based on the IP it last pulled.
