What do you like best about the product?
The inventory feature and the device query to find the specific set of devices are really good.

Apart from that, remote PowerShell, process viewer, remote control, and software deployment options are good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The console is unresponsive at times and needs improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since most of our employees are working from home and may not be on VPN, a cloud-based patch management system really helps in pushing out patches without any on-prem dependencies
Recommendations to others considering the product:
First, create a test account, use it for a couple of months and then make a decision.

Insightful and amazing support

What do you like best about the product?
We are getting detailed information on all of our endpoints in one easy-to-use location. Whenever we have an issue with our Syxsense portal, the support team can always quickly provide clear and detailed steps to resolve it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our portal can be slow sometimes, and the new cortex section is not very functional yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Regular windows patching and ensuring that all of our endpoints are in a healthy state
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once the work of setting up the platform is completed, the overall day-to-day use is easy and wonderful to use

What do you like best about the product?
SQL based Query's and Active directory grouping has made my weekly patches a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface is a little slow to respond/queries take a bit to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently solving all our patching needs, As well as just starting to dive into cortex! very excited to get working on that!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a suite that is continually developing towards their customers needs, this is the one for you! i hightly reccomend syxsense to anyone hoping to get away from the old school Wsus or other over complicated patching tools! When Setting up syxsense the team was very helpful in answering some of my complicated asks, and offered some easy to follow tutorials and hands on help, they also offer an amazing knowledge base for quick reference! Syxsense does a great job clearly labling the security vulnerabilities making it easy to pick out the CVSS scores to push our 0 day critical patches.

What do you like best about the product?
Cortex!

Automation is undoubtedly the differential of any tool, as it minimizes work and saves time for other activities
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of creating a support ticket, if any, would become the only and effective tool for the entire IT infrastructure

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ease of use once you become familiar with it, as well as the support for when things may not go as planned. Most areas are intuitive as well as highly customizable. The team hops on issues or questions to resolve them as fast as possible and with great detail.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have run into issues with some of the micro agents on various levels of machines. Support has helped us narrow down where any of those issues might be and has made themselves available to troubleshoot over the phone and in real-time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Syxsense mainly to patch all of our machines, distribute software, run reports, remote into devices. Having all of this online has made everything very convenient and accessible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use their support for all questions. They will come up with a solution if they don't already have one in place

What do you like best about the product?
There are several features that I use: Patching and updating machines, System information verification, IP Address/MAC information, Remote Access, File Transfer, and Reboot commands. All of these have been very convenient. When troubleshooting an issue, the ability to find some system information without depending on the user is very valuable. This cuts down on the time needed for research and allows more time to address the issue. Also, the ability to transfer a file to the machine is wonderful and also assists with the ability to properly troubleshoot. I previously used Microsoft InTune which was not as user friendly. SyxSense has created a more user friendly compatible application that works well for our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I worked with G2 when there were a few issues with our software. The remote feature would stop working while providing support. I was able to work with the support team on a resolution. We found another issue arise where our inventory was duplicated. Once again, their support department worked with us to create a script that removed the duplicates and allowed a more clean environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to patch all of our machines properly. Also, the ability to connect to a user's machine without a security prompt is terrific. Some of the capabilities that I have also used are: Sending a message to the machine to notify the user of an update before restarting the device, Rebooting a machine that has pending updates remotely without interaction from the user, and last, the ability to find information network information remotely without disturbing the user was terrific. This came in handy when troubleshooting network or connection issues on any of our machines. I find this feature extremely useful.

I would definitely recommend this product.

An amazing solution to administrate IT

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of patch management is something I haven't seen in any other solution, including having all the necessary patches available directly in syxsense, not needing to go to the vendor to download and upload. Furthermore, the automation possibilities with Cortex allow our team to greatly increase productivity in the sector.
What do you dislike about the product?
The remote access functionality helps a lot, but if it had the direct ctrl-C/V option it would be perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our patch compliance level after using Syxsense is consistently above 90%. This was a big challenge as with employees working outside the office it wasn't easy to update computers.

Great patching software

What do you like best about the product?
Its a SaaS solution that can manage endpoints just by the installation of a small lightweight agent. There is no need for VPNs between their solutions, and you don't need to have any on-premises servers/applications installed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, it works great. I haven't had any significant issues with it. They add new features and improvements constantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are patching hundreds of remote servers with it. We also use it to deploy/run custom scripts to the remote servers or push some custom application updates with it. We have deployed GPOs via PowerShell scripts to hundreds of remote servers via syxsense agent.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its really nice tool that does it job. Its competitive prices. We are using it for few years and are very happy with it. They were the only software provider that we found that can do what we needed i.e being able to patch servers remotely without the need for any additional infrastructure deployed at the remote sites.

A complete solution for IT management

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to get started in everything, patches, inventory, automation, deployment. Everything is so simple to understand and easy to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user management UI renewal is confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Syxsense helps me with almost everything! Since the Cortex introduction, it has made our lives at the Office way better. The amount of possibilities within Cortex is excellent and made us try many different things in our environment that we could not do before. The patches and the scan vulnerabilities are excellent and reliable as always, and the PowerShell options in Device tools have saved our lives a few times. Everything was made by a small team that understood how much Syxsense could help us in our daily tasks.
