One of the pieces of best management software I have used
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy a few things about this software. The ability to remote into a system, send software updates, patch management, and system information are the top tasks I use. The remote feature is great and easy to use. The software patching works great and sends an email once complete. You can reboot a machine. And last, I enjoy having access to the system information - IP Address, Installed applications, etc. - without having to ask the user to provide this information. Works great!
What do you dislike about the product?
. The biggest issue I have seen is the freezing of remote access. I have found that it locks up the system and I am unable to reconnect. I have seen this occur for multiple reasons including poor internet connections. But, when it is working great, it is wonderful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Syxsense solves the issue of us keeping our machines up to date without having to manually touch each machine. It is a great support tool. Also, I have had issues where a user is missing something critical on their machine. Building a package is rather easy as well. They also have support options available to assist. But, once the package is in the system, it only takes a matter of minutes to successfully push this to a machine and have it fully installed. There is also an option to reboot or not reboot the machine depending on the situation.
Easy tool to remediate vulnerabilities
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is simple to click and remediate any security issues within our environment. It was super easy to implement in to our environment. Our customer support representative is alway very resposive and helpful. We use syxsense every week to scan our environment and patch our vulnerabilities on a regular schedule. It was super easy to integrate all aspects of syxsense in to our environment. We use probable about half to three quarters of the features that we are subscribed to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some issues are the ability to reverse any remediations

Syxsense is helping to identify and resolve our vulnerabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
great PCI related reports that can be executed at any time

CPU hog on production servers; caused multiple reboots.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Absolute has been a life saver when it comes to managing our fleet of windows machines
What do you like best about the product?
Absolutes have helped our team ensure that all devices comply with our full disk encryption policies through its extensive reporting features. Furthermore, Absolute has helped us make sure critical applications such as our AV solution are installed on all endpoints through its persistence technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating the menus has been difficult at times, but this has gotten noticeably better with recent updates. It would also be nice to have more in-depth training documents readily available that covers the core features of absolute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absolutes ability to add custom device fields has been useful for us for reporting purposes, furthermore, the ability to freeze machines has been really useful when it comes to recovering equipment from employees.

Device freeze takes time to kick in. Just have to wait a bit

Sometimes with so many features you get lost but support has been on top and has been explaining the features that come with it.

Management, tracking, reporting and some deployment of softwares.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the geolocation portion. Being able to see where our devices are on a map is a cool thing to see. The power that comes with pushing out Powershell scripts is super handy in our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't care for the column headers you get after creating smart groups. I would like to see the same headers you get when viewing All Devices. Some of the application persistence needs a little attention. We use Sophos XDR and although the dashboard reflects all of our devices are protected with Anti-Malware, Application Health shows all Sophos clients are unhealthy.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a strict corporate travel policy. Vacationing users are asked not to bring their corporate device(s) with them. When they do, we had no control over the use of the device while traveling abroad. With Absolute geofencing, we can track that device, display a full screen message reiterating the corporate travel policy and freeze the device until they return to the confines of our preset geofence.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how the product is able to persist through a reinstall

Multi tenancy does not exist and licenses have to be purchased through ingram

Absolute prevents laptops from getting lost and stolen.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to install the agent and get multiple features is why we love Syxsense. We get inventory, remote sign in, patch status and (most importantly) patch installation across all our endpoints.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Linux and apple support were better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a remote workforce it is almost impossible to keep end user equipment up to date. Also, to have a quick, up to date status and remoting capability is tremendous.
An ABSOLUTE no-brainer!
What do you like best about the product?
Besides all of the useful security features and functionality that you may have heard or read about, the most important benefit for customers is the peace of mind that we have knowing that our endpoints are protected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it does exactly what it is configured and designed to do when we expect it to, there is nothing that I can think of to dislike about it.

Absolute provides real-time protection of our intellectual property, and allows us to confidently manage mobility, investigate potential threats, and take action if a security incident occurs.
