Used Absolute since 2008 and it just keeps getting better
What do you like best about the product?
We use Absolute as our "swiss army knife" for helping with our IT Asset Management initiatives. Absolute is utilized throughout our "cradle to grave" management of hardware and software for the organization. Have used Absolute since 2008, and the product just improves with time. I have been involved as a beta tester, and it's nice to see my suggestions added to Absolute.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensed software discovery and reporting to be more refined. It is very time-consuming to massage the data to get the needed output. There are limitations on filtering within reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absolute's ability to report on any device regardless of location and freeze or delete data remotely is key to our IT Asset Management initiative.

What do you like best about the product?
That it works with Microsoft, Apple, and Linux, having a solution that can monitor our devices is critical from both a patch management standpoint and a vulnerability management standpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot create custom reports within the console; however, the Syxsense staff has been great at adding the needed reports on my behalf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to continuously monitor my devices for patching and vulnerabilities no matter where they are in the world. They do not have to be on the network and can be managed from anywhere.

What do you like best about the product?
The Absolute Software product is incredibly user-friendly, meaning that you'll be able to do more with it than you thought possible. I login to the software almost daily, and their customer support is outstanding – they guide you through every step of the process. If you're looking for a software that will give you complete control over your computer, Absolute Software is the right choice.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Absolute Software is great for users who want a lot of control over their computers, it can be a bit overwhelming for beginners. Some of the features might be difficult to figure out without help from customer support. Additionally, Absolute Software can be quite pricey compared to other software options on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Despite these few problems, Absolute Software is still the best choice for users who want complete control over their computer. With its wealth of features and easy-to-use interface, Absolute Software is perfect for anyone who wants to get the most out of their machine.
Purchased for Resilience and truly impressed with the entire suite.
What do you like best about the product?
Absolute Resilience allows us to track, manage and retrieve endpoints for our remote workforce. The dashboards provide a holistic view of what is most important to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
While this is on Absolute's roadmap, would love to have automation triggers for events within the console. Additionally, would like the ability to create custom views for the dashboard. Currently limited to Absolute default device groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absolute persistence helps our organization with device freezing, application resilience, and geofencing rules. Absolute cryptographic wipe and the sanitation certificate allowed for a more streamlined decommissioning endpoint solution.
Great product for monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to monitor devices no matter what wifi they log into.
What do you dislike about the product?
The process for adding licenses takes a long time to process
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping my company keep track of laptops that go missing and controlling sensitive information on those devices.

What do you like best about the product?
How dynamic Syxsense queries and reports are, this give you way more control and attention to detail.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I have noticed is that some of the agents cause the server resources to go critical, after a reinstall this is resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are only a team of 2 and manage over 350 servers daily, Syxsense gives us a wide scope of what our problems and solutions can be.
Its very easy to use and once it was set up I've had very little problems with it...
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to configure and maintain. The interface is easy to understand.

isn't a lot I don't like about it... everything works well..

It takes care of the work and gives me reports I can check to make sure the updates to the computers are being taken care of. Gives me more time for other matters

What do you like best about the product?
It assists in keeping track of laptops and other mobiles apps among other factors such as inventory and compliance specs
What do you dislike about the product?
Their is no multi tier support, ex: for MSPs to manage multiple clients under one account
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For one it provides compliance for companies that require it, asset management and theft protection in the case of a lost device
Such a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
I can easily find a User or a PC within a few clicks to run Inventory, Patch Scan, reboot or remote control from a Browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
When running remote control on a PC that has 2 monitors.. you only get to see one screen at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Syxsense takes care of all the Microsoft patches and tells me if I need to have them applied or not.

SyxSense is a great monitoring application. They ease of use and customer service is great! I have no complaints so far.
