Absolute - perfect for endpoint management
What do you like best about the product?
Absolute provides central control over endpoints with options to freeze devices, manage group policies and implement endpoint protection policies. I really love the capability of adding custom data points using rulebuilder.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data on the dasboard may sometimes be not consistent with the devices. For example chrome extensions only gets dat afrom default profile of the endpoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized endpoint control, device monitoring, freezing devices upon inactivity, applying group policies. Auditing of installed applications and chrome extensions. Using data builder to include custom json data files. Identifying public networks to which the endpoint connect to. Mainatining a custom freeze policy for different devices.

What do you like best about the product?
Absolute Secure Endpoint includes its ease of use, comprehensive security features, and the ability to track and protect devices both on and off the network. Additionally, its ability to remotely wipe data from lost or stolen devices and its real-time monitoring capabilities are also praised by users. What do you dislike about the product?
Absolute Secure Endpoint can be resource-intensive and may impact the performance of older machines. That being said, these concerns are subjective and may not be applicable to all users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Powerful tool provides geolocation, software inventory and more
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to remotely lock or wipe devices in the event they are lost or stolen. REACH scripting is also a great feature that allows Absolute to act as a powerful software deployment mechanism.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not too many downsides that we've discovered with this solution so far. If there was one thing I had to be critical of, the speed of reporting new software could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to track location of devices, and security wipe the data and prevent unauthorized access to the device is a major goal that's acheived by using Absolute.
Good Product. Gets the job done.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to manage and easy to deploy the software. We deploy to Mac through JAMF and Windows through Intune. In testing and using the website, it is simple to wipe devices if needed and get a status for each device.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if my company had paid for some of the other modules to get more information from the devices if possible. Also, it would be nice if the process of removing stale devices was a little easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to protect devices in case of loss or theft. We can quickly and easily wipe devices to make sure no data on the devices is obtained by anyone outside of our organization.
Very helpful tool to track computers
What do you like best about the product?
We were facing a few asset losses in our offices. Our Inventory was not being tracked at our remote sites since there was no tech staff on-site, so we decided to use Absolute. It is incredible when tracking devices is needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the pricing of this product were a little lower, but otherwise no other complaints about Absolute Secure Endpoint I can think of, we are really happy to have it.

Like I said, we were suffering from asset loss in our offices. Inventory was not being tracked at our remote sites since there was no tech staff on site. So we decided to implement Absolute to help.
Great UI and easy controls
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity and ease of use when it comes to the dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be more helpful to explain some of what each task can do and handle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us locate our devices and keeping them secure with geofencing rules and the ability to freeze them if they're compromised.
Great product for endpoint management and resilience
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to freeze devices. Our workforce is mostly remote. Having the ability to freeze devices when people leave the organization or a device is lost is crucial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, although I wish there were other ways to install the agent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
People who have left our organization could still log in to their machines with cached credentials. Absolute solved this issue by being able to freeze devices.
Easy to use, cost effect, high "bang for the buck" value.
What do you like best about the product?
Integrated bios compatibility from all manufacturers. Super easy to set up and use. Very intuitive console. Highly cost-effective for the features provided. Great DLP and tracking functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found one yet. I highly recommend this product.

Laptop and home system tracking and security.
Absolute Endpoint
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to navigate the administrative console and how quickly you can find assets in your inventory. There are many built-in tools that are extremely useful. I like how the dashboard is customizable and provides vital information at a glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not encountered many negative aspects of Absolute software. It delivers on what is promised, and the performance has been outstanding!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a bios level endpoint solution offers a high level of security and management. Being able to manage assets and have the advantage should a security incident arise is accomplished with this solution.
Excellent Tool for Asset Management and Administration
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool too manage user devices. It is great at managing and easy to use. The ability to lock down a machine that's been compromised or lost, or may be being used for malicious reasons is extremely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Thus far I have not run into anything that it's not able to do for what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to see who assets are assigned to and manage those assets. When we have remote users who have equipment that they should not have, it gives us the ability to lock that hardware down, so that it can not be used and can be returned to us.
