Absolute. Absolutely performs
What do you like best about the product?
And trying to keep track of 35,000 students and their devices it allows me to quickly compare who a device is assigned to and who it is last being used by and when
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I'd really love to have better would be to be able to export the last known location that is pinpointed within the service for every device and export it to excel
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With having so many devices go missing it allows me to control the ability of a end user to use a device if it's missing as well as let me know who the last login was by

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Not much training and could use it right away.
How accessable it is. Could use and access it in the office and on my mobile device while during business hour and off hours.

What do you dislike about the product?
The delay. We have a lot of devices with Absolute Secure Endpoint and some times it takes awhile searching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It meet our requirement for our day to day operational use.
Time spend on the issue was really short
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many reports and information that is centralized on one repository application interface. this application allows to make changes on the fly and keep a good grip on what matters most.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where I migrate an image from windows 10 to 11 and the application did not announce that there was an issue since it runs on the back end so we find out this situation when the user was having issues with their system.
The other bad issue found is that when you try to resolve a event viewer report regarding an absolute application the engineer try to find more infor about it and no info found in google or bing as well so you have to basically email absolute support .

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allow you to locate on the fly all the applications that are loaded on the end user and so you can later manippulate or control or customize the access for that application

What do you like best about the product?
Our account rep and technical team have been amazing as we have sought to better utilize the Absolute platform and switch to an ELA.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still sorting out some bugs of geo-location not working properly on all devices, but again the team has been a big help!

Lojack tracking and device health statuses.

What do you like best about the product?
Reliability solution, which takes place at the core level of the system arc helps the IT to have overall control on all devices. I have seen many end points over the past, but this works on granular level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Switching of license and Dashboard would be more interactive and appealing with simple info to grasp in one go, or just an informative overview which just needs a bit of improvement.

Asset management and Inventory helps in the logistic of safer delivery of asset to end user, by locking down the PC after deployment.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever we sell a solution WITH the Secure Endpoint on deployment, we can always know whenever a client stops paying and cancel the service anytime! This has been helpful in that regard.
Endpoint visibility and protection
What do you like best about the product?
We are able to track our endpoints throughout the world and have to ability to lock down a machine at a moment's notice. The software works seamlessly and at one would expect.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the need to install a software component into the machine. This would also be true of any competing product. At least the software is deep into the BIOS and it makes things nearly impossible for an every day user to defeat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absolute gives me visibility over where corporate devices are located around the globe. If I wish to geo fence a country, this is possible. If a machine is lost or stolen I can remotely wipe or freeze the machine temporarily.
Full endpoint visibility and control
What do you like best about the product?
Absolute provides an great user interface, and runs natively under the operational system, to guarantee endpoints can't be tampered with. Security features such as remotely freezing the device and application auto-healing are a game - changer. There is nothing out there that compare to Absolute.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absolute sales team is not very well organized, a lot of back and forth requried to get anything done from a licensing perspective. Once this is sorted, the technical portion is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Endpoints are now mobile and Absolute gives the controls required to keep full management of endpoints even when they are off the domain, taking security to the next level.

It Absolutely Does a Great Job at Asset Management and Security
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to also push scripts, see software on machines and their persistence features are awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
The deployment and list import features can be a little more intuitive.
