Perfect tool for automating Continuous integration processe
What do you like best about the product?
Much more stabilized version of Jenkins. It helps in improving your CI environment, which could further help in adapting the company's best practices, agile methodology. When you think of usability and quality cloud bees CI stands out. Also it brings more easy of integrating with Amazon cloud services, Docker and Kubernetes
What do you dislike about the product?
Well the thing which I dislike about the product is the pricing. Which could be somewhat lesser, else I would like them to add few more additional feature to it inorder to make justice for the pricing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this tool to build our software. We have configured it to build, test and deploy our on cloud solution. Major benefits is the time it has reduced to configure and provides lot of plugins which should be easy for and helps with parallel pipelines running at same time. Major benefits is the integration of cloud BEES CI with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You might find the product to be costly compared to other open sources. But it is really a cost cutting software where you dont have to put much of man effort to learn and review issues as like in open source. Better once compare if the workflow serves the need of company

The subscription is expensive and adding more features bump up your costs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to automate our software development process.
Using this with Jenkins has allowed us to innovate faster and has helped us save a lot of time for setting us Jenkins for CI CD.
It gives us visibility into the entire process of development making sure the entire process is smooth and controllable and helps us avoid any bottlenecks.

CloudBees CI can be considered as Next Generation automation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
If you ever used Jenkins and wanted to enhance your capability then CloudBees CI is the best suited tool for your organization. It comes up with pre configured templates and policies with automate and manage complex tasks. It will allow you to manage more Jenkin instances which can be done using less compute and effort. We also used a lot of inbuilt plugin which CloudBees CI comes by default. It has capability of Pipeline checkpoints in it which allow quick identification of issues in an ongoing pipeline operation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found CloudBees CI is having a powerful framework but comes with a similar dashboard as Jenkins. It can be improved further and also it is quite expensive for a small organization. Hence, pricing and license model can be further improved and more plugins with AWS can be created for managing complex builds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us to quickly migrate our Legacy application to go live. It saved us a lot of human efforts and with a small team we were able to manage and scale up quickly. We were able to create quick policies which were enforced across our Development Team. Separation of modules were easy and best suited for a complex Microservice architecture. Overall we were able to bring all the teams automation operation at a single place and helped us to save cost.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We had a great experience for deploying our application from Git to AWS environment. It is very easy to configure with PCF and Cloud Foundry. Scalable operations can be performed and I never faced any lagging or operation flaws.
Excellent system for the developers to share Applications effectively.

CloudBees CD has various reliable and important role around the business, the tool can track any change with the company, easy track company resources and the deployment capability its fantastic and incredible.

Great manageability because its comes with inbuilt CloudBees Jenkins Operations Center allowing large teams to manage master templates, RBAC and folders from this single console

The UI of CloudBees CI is a bit complex.

Reduces administration and upgrade complexity by moving the organization into a multimaster pipeline architecture from a monolithic architecture.

What do you like best about the product?
CloudBees is easily configurable, it can be easily modified and extended. The extensive set of plugins makes Jenkins flexible and allows you to build, deploy, and automate on multiple platforms. Problems are detected and resolved almost immediately, keeping the software in a state where it can be safely released at any time. Jenkins support is a great helper tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far the only thing that I think needs to be improved is that it has very little documentation, which leads to a high learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CloudBees allows you to automate much of the work of building, testing, and deploying your code. Most of the integration work is automated. Therefore, the integration problems are minor. This saves time and money over the life of a project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
CloudBees allows the implementation of all the news directly in the base code, to avoid a long and problematic integration phase at the end of a project. I recommend it.

Off the shelf continuous integration plateform. No infrastructure deployment cost.

It may cost some money if we use it for long time period intensively, compared to self managed solution.

What do you like best about the product?
The engineering demo and walk thru of new features. The new features truly inspired us to improve us CI CD pipeline and looking forward to integrate new challenges and opportunities to our existing pipeline. I also like the ability to extend and install newest plugin for our jenkins instance and being able to provide latest integration with existing project.
What do you dislike about the product?
the lack of real time support and tedious process, sometime we cannot get hold of specifc person from Cloudbees to support us for an urgent issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the continuous ci integration of our development pipeline, save time and money and bosst the productivity of development work. This is the great opportunity for our team to extend our support and produce the sanctification in developer and QA's daily work. Our team has been truly benefit by the on time engineering support and features demo by cloudbees.
