5x is a great orchestration feature
What do you like best about the product?
I can easily orchestrate my DE jobs, build connectors an track if it is successfully synced or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now, as it is a continuously improving product

Its helping us with data ingestions by scheduling jobs and building connectors.

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about 5x is how seamlessly it brings together the data tools in one unified platform. The onboarding process was smooth and the support team is knowledgeable and quick to respond. Our data team now operates more efficiently without the hassle of coordinating across various systems or extraction methods.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much to dislike. So far so good
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before 5X, our data team built multiple data extraction pipelines using different technologies and handwritten code. Now, we operate these processes more efficiently without the hassle of coordinating across various systems or extraction methods.
My go-to data platform
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is amazing for data management. It was really simple to implement my ETL pipelines using the tools available. Has the ability to connect to any dataset effortlessly and works seamlessly with Snowflake. The BI features give options to easily create valuable dashboards in no time. All of its capabilities combined make it indispensable for data-driven work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would have been great to have some more AI capabilities like search to automate some tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was easily able to connect to my data source and create the ETL pipelines I needed to set up the data I required for my BI dashboards.

We’ve had a fantastic experience working with 5X and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From the start, implementing a data strategy with 5X was refreshingly straightforward. The platform is intuitive and well-designed, making it easy for our team to get up and running quickly without the usual complexity and overhead.

Overall 5X has been very solid. Nothing really comes to mind that wouldn't be user error, likely.

5X has helped us implement our Data and BI strategy. They combine quite a few tools for ingestion, transformation and so forth, that make the whole process easier to manage.

5X has made managing data pipelines very easier by combining ETL tools + Big Data integration and DataOps features in one platform.
Integrating sources was quick and the platform’s intuitive design allowed our team to automate workflows without a steep learning curve

Some advanced features are still in development, and setting up complex workflows can be tricky, occasionally, we need extra support for custom integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ingestion from desperate data sources and making our internal reporting way more easier and faster. Reporting that used to take days is now almost realtime and has enabled transparancy throughout the organization
Easy to use Data Platform with lots of capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to set up and use with a clean interface that makes onboarding easy for non-technical users as well. Its capabilities range from seamless integrations to analytics and automation and managing complex datasets without overburden on different teams. They have a good support team and regular feature updates ensuring we always have the tools we needed to drive value.
What do you dislike about the product?
They do not offer built-in AI solutions out of the box. However, I appreciate that their team is working on adding AI capabilities. And it will be a great addon and will make platform even more powerful.

Fast and easy setup which helps non-technical teams to quickly get actionable insights and help in making data driven decisions.

The speed at which the team works and ease to set up the platform in your environment. The customer support is also excellent

The product can get little difficult to use in the beginning, but can be solved upon enablement sessions and trainings

I don't really have anything negative to say from my perspective. Everything has gone well so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5X is helping us establish a data warehouse for our company so we can introduce more robust and meaningful reporting. This will also allow our non technical users to self serve when looking for certain KPIs.
Strategic Partners
What do you like best about the product?
5X has promptly and consistently delivered on both our baseline agreed upon scope, but also plenty of value add "bonus" features that have been born out of an interest in creating the best end-user experience possible. I genuinely appreciate their thoughtfulness and diligence. Having managed numerous in-house and contracted engineering teams in the past 10+ years, I remain impressed at how attentive, organized, and responsive the 5X team is. The quality of work is really top-notch and the work effort has been totally transparent. During my vendor selection process, I was clear with all of the candidates that the technical ability to deliver my data management and analytic scope was simply table stakes; I was looking for a strategic partner, and that's precisely what 5X has been in our first year working together.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have too much negative to say; however, I do think that sometimes the platform offering can overshadow their consultative services offering. My company is using 5X consulting services to implement our custom analytics platform and are very happy with that arrangement thus far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5X is leveraging a technology stack that I stood up prior to determining who would assist me in the development and engineering efforts. In addition to the third party products that comprise the majority of the stack, we use 5X IDE for scheduling and orchestration (taking on the role of some dbt and Dagster that would have otherwise been deployed).
So far, our typical cadence is that I will define scope and configure the initial ingestion connectors to pull data from the systems of record and land it to our lakehouse. 5X is dealing with everything from that point through to the visualizations. We haven't done it yet (though I have a couple in the immediate future), but a custom ingestion/integration would also fall under the scope of the 5X team. This arrangement has allowed me to focus on strategy and vision, while overseeing the architecture and data models from a high level (as a data architect by trade, I really enjoy walking through the proposed structures and weighing in here and there, but not necessarily feeling the burden to have to determine every detail of the models myself). It is also exposing enterprise reporting for the very first time - my company has typically had to rely on a weekly pulse-check, but now has the agency to answer questions in real-time without an expensive ERP license.
