Condensed Information - what you need when you need

  • May 24, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Pluralsight presentations give you a structured , condensed treatment of the subject. What you need to know in a nutshell while still touching on the little aspects you need to know to do the job. If you need to know it and you need it from the people who know what they are doing Plurasight is a good source for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I usually find myself not wanting it to end. The courses are to the point and well presented. This is very little excess to them and you often want their to be more. It is not common or easy to come upon information distilled down into a solid information flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am learning new technologies having worked in the business of IT for the past 30 years. The information is presented in a way to keep your attention and stay relevant with being too simplistic. It is to the point and sincere.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good site for instruction videos. Clear and to the point presentations with relevant information

Great Experience on Pluralsight

  • May 23, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
You can search for a specific topic you're interested in or you can choose a path to a certification (such as Network+, ITIL, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a video series I'm taking now that appears to be the only one on that subject (preparing for an industry certification) and I just realized they have a new version of the exam. So now I need to research what the differences are in the updated exam, and it would've been great to have known that information beforehand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight has been awesome for me. I recently got hired for my first IT job, so I really love the fact that I could look up something I need to know more about (such as troubleshooting or registry editing) and there are probably several videos to choose from.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have had issues being able to ask questions on older courses
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Pluralsight to learn Angular, RxJS, C#, App security, testing... when we get stuck on an issue I can usually find a Pluralsight course to help solve it

Top notch, easy to follow, and relevant instruction.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
All of the training is pertinent, up to date, and easy to follow. Even better, the training is hands on; where I can watch the tutorials and follow along at my own pace. The exercise files are fresh mirror the training content so you never have to worry if it relates to your area of study.
What do you dislike about the product?
A very small handful are too fast paced and overloaded with information making it difficult, if not impossible, to follow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have improved my coding skills dramatically. Also refreshed my networking skills, and what's more, all while learning a new compositing skill.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look here first, the tutorials are top notch and relevant to current industry standards.

Working on a new project with a lot of new technology, Pluralsights helps me get the know-how to make the right technological decisions and implement them with the industry best practises

Great Place for knowledge as a Developer

  • May 23, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the option to have a chosen path with an outline of all of the courses to be successful in learning the chosen skill. In addition, the assessments that come to complete knowledge checks is great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the constant issue with the connection timing out during my usage. There are times when I am in the middle of a course, I step away for a bit and I come back and the video crashes. I also don't like some of the content is too generic, I wish it had more real-life applications to help with learning code in real life situations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving everyday problems for our organization, it has a great variety of tools and skills that help us grown in our knowledge of platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Follow the curriculum because it helps the learning process.
