What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of course on Pluralsight. One of my favourites is the hands-on courses. I enjoy using my own interests as a sail when I browse Pluralsight. Another thing is short courses which are a great solution for busy people or just for someone who wants to zone off their current problem and learn something new.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that many courses are outdated and that some courses provide tutorials only for one OS. The technology is evolving very fast and perhaps some younger developers could share insight on some bleeding-edge topics. Be it less deep or less accurate, but at least some tutorials related to fresh research would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight courses helped me to become a better developer. A very important step at the beginning of the career is to take the right direction. I used videos related to security and design patterns that helped me set and outlook for good development practices.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pluralsight is a very promising platform. I definitely see it in tech companies as a requirement for new starters.

What do you like best about the product?
Pluralsight is an invaluable tool for reliable learning in all aspects of IT, not just software development.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes have to supplement Pluralsight with courses from other sites like Udemy or Channel9. For example, until very recently (July 2019) there was no content on Apache Kafka or event streaming technology.

Usually relates to new technology or learning for personal development.

Wonderful for new programers to learn from

  • September 10, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to learn new technologies, jump from one topic to the next for those topics that I just need a refresher on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how some of the information is out dated. It makes following along really hard to do sometimes. Also, when I have multiple windows open, they tend to reload and start playing on their own. This is very bothersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm learning how to code.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a good way to learn coding and to keep up to date on some code topics

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Learning from a fresher perspective

  • September 10, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The recommendation of courses based on your level of understanding of the topic. Instructor are well known to their subjects and topics so that it becomes easier to understand them. Paths feature is a highlight for me because sometime you don't know where to go after doing a particular course and with Path, it solves that problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having less number of courses in some of the topics. Sometimes, subtitles are not in sync with the video which cause confusion in some of the videos. I think if that would be improved, it will be a great help. The course which I took do not have test with them. I don't know that it is usual or otherwise, but tests helps to regain topics later and it is a big source of remembering things. So I think you can include them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding from scratch those topics which I have not learnt previously. It helps in building your basics right. The courses goes on with a well directed path so that building your concept is not a problem which usually happens when starting a new thing. As a fresher, it is a great help.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
First make sure that for which profile are you going for a course and get known to different terminologies associated with that role. This way, it would be easier to get better courses.
