A great very extensive database of courses
What do you like best about the product?
It tracks your skills and progress quite well. It has some great features in the courses allowing you to learn well. The extensive range of courses is great. Highly recommend
What do you dislike about the product?
It does what it's there for, most things seems to work quite well. Perhaps a more details breakdown for each course could be good. Perhaps better categorises list of courses
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing me to learn new skills that I may require or would like to extend for technical development required through the company. This would improve business performance
Learn at your own pace!
What do you like best about the product?
Pluralsight is a great way to dig deeper in technical skills without the requirement of being technical! The self-paced method allows me to take my time to understand each topic in my own way and bring it back to my team effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a built-in study guide or study group chat you could use as a resource if you're feeling stuck. I'm an experiential learner and having that interactive portion is important in my learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsights does a great job condensing really expansive topics in a way that doesn't feel overwhelming or sensory overload. I've learned so much about each subject without needing to do a deep dive on my own time in order to understand it fully.
Good platform with well built courses, missing some digital security courses for it to be a 10
What do you like best about the product?
I like the methodology of the courses, and in general the way the teachers structure the content. I also like a lot the search capabilities of the platform, including the fact that the content is structured in paths.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that we need more courses on digital security. In general this a weak area of the platform. Also I have a hard time figuring out which new courses are relevant for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps my team with the development of technical skills and in general to also refresh the skills they use in the day to day work they perform. Also some of the videos allow to have entry level knowledge of some subjects (ex, sql injection).
Lots of great information for learning new skills
What do you like best about the product?
PluralSight provided me with an excellent foundation for deepening my understanding of various job-related skills. These skills are great for building upon my formal education to become a more significant asset for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the Pluralsight courses can be hit-or-miss due to the nature of being taught by individuals. Some courses will have instructors you click with - but others won't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I received a formal education through a four-year university in Computer Science. Due to the nature of the degree, there are often gaps between what you're taught and what is industry standard. Pluralsight helps bridge those gaps.
Pluralsight for onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
Skills allow our new hires to explore our full tech stack before diving into their new roles. Assessments allow them to see how they rank against others in the industry, where they are excelling and where they can grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the assessments can be too "textbook" so we ensure an SME curates them before the assignment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight makes off the shelf training available at our fingertips

Wide variety of choice
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing basics/fundamental courses for some specific areas
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to dive deeper into topics before working with something new. As the course is structured, it gives you enough overall insight.
Best In Class Continuous Learning Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Hands down, the best feature of Pluralsight Skills is Skill IQ. This machine learning and AI-based 15-minute assessment will identify your strengths and gaps and specific training to close those existing gaps. This allows users to really optimize the time they have dedicated for training to cut out what they already know and focus on their gaps. No other competing product that I have found offers a tool as powerful as this.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something that could use improvement is the connection between Pluralsight Skills and A Cloud Guru. They have demoed some improvements that are coming soon that should streamline the experience between the two platforms. Currently, it can be a little clunky to jump between the two platforms to get the training you want in the public cloud platform services realm.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight Skills solves the problem of cataloging a maintaining an inventory of skills within your organization. Prior to having Pluralsight Skills, understanding team skills and technical capabilities was highly subjective based on team lead input. Now we have real data based on Skill IQs that will follow employees as the improve their skills or move throughout the organization. This inventory of skills also helps us identify where our teams may need to skill up in order to meet the needs of a new project before they start work.
I am an experienced user
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to take courses to add new skills. I can also bookmark spots and take notes which I may refer back to later. I can't always remember how to do something I have learned, but it is easy to go back and review when I need to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like every presenter's style but I can still acquire the information I am looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can easily gain skills from the comfort of my own desk at a pace I am comfortable.
