Boomi automates complex & impactful services
What do you like best about the product?
Boomi has allowed me to bring value to my company by automating Ecommerce, DTC, B2B processes and data flow at TKG. Integration & Automation platform has been crucial to have data flow to the right places at the right time, with listeners providing near realtime service for our web orders coming from Salesforce. It works seamlessly with SSMS as well and we are exploring Master Data Hub to replace or SSIM packages and stored procedures. Before ammunition I worked with it extensively for complex educational data as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Boomi has some intricacies/inconsistencies that takes experience to nail out, like sometimes JSON and XML maps needing a reimport of the whole profile to modify a single field. Or a main process that holds several sub process, that sometimes which both main and sub process show up in process reporting, making it easier to debug and see executions, and sometimes only the main process showing up, making it difficult to drill down to that specific sub process execution. I'd like to see both main and sub processes in process reporting when s main one fires the sub. Even configuring it exactly as other main process that show both, sometimes the sub wont show up!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DTC & B2B orders for ammunition, bidirectional synchronization with our PIM/DAM
Limited use customer planning for the future
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are a significant amount of native connection for integrations built in. I also like the UI canvas experience for integration. It is clear and understandable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a one stop platform and it has been difficult learning everything provided by the product. The Boomi World conference has been helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration and data mapping are our primary uses. Solving manual data entry and replication.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Boomi seamlessly integrates all of our applications using advanced AI agents and workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used to dislike the limited agent connections but the new AgentStudio is a complete game changer.

Boomi is adding much needed error handling and seamless integration with Azure.

Sometimes Boomi seems like a black box, and the errors do not reveal the root causes of the issue.

Simplicity and speed of setting up custom workflows, avoiding code (for the most part)

If there is something that cannot be some with the basic components/functions, complex code or VERY odd workarounds are required

Difficult to track which tab is what kind of shape. Saw in training that is about to change so the shapes being added to the tabs. Very excited about this
