A solid development metrics solution
What do you like best about the product?
Hatica has been a great partner and has worked with us every step of the way. Getting set up was easy, and we saw value from the solution immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some metrics that we don't particularly care about, but it is easy to focus only on the things that make sense for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Track development metrics.
Hatica provides valuable engineering metrics at an affordable cost
What do you like best about the product?
Hatica is simple to set up, the metrics are useful and easy to understand, and the price is very affordable compared to similar products in the space.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been a handful of bugs during on-boarding and the first few months of use. No show-stoppers, though, and they tend to be resolved quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hatica helps me to identify trends across development teams and have a data-driven approach to developer efficiency and productivity.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Closed Prs are still counted in cycle time.
2. Filtering out a PR, in case of exceptions is not allowed.

Dev Metric Guide and Activity Log Dashboards are really helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Dev Metric Guide and Activity Log Dashboards which are really helpful to track the overall teams github activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ability to exclude prs. This feature exist in other platforms.Lets say due to some reason a pr was created in certain way and I dont want that to be tracked. Also date filter in goals would be nice addtion to track breach of goals every sprint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hatica for us is solving an organizational work management problem. It gives us an idea on how teams are working and also helps in tracking inefficiency among team members.
Excellent product for engineering teams.
What do you like best about the product?
Being a long-term user of Hatica, my fav thing about Hatica is its approach to helping engineering teams boost developer productivity. To boost developer productivity, improving engineering metrics alone is not enough. Developer well-being also needs to be taken care of. Other than Hatica, till now, I haven’t seen any engineering management platform giving equal importance to developer well-being.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frequent UI updates sometimes make it frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Low developer productivity and lack of insights into developers’ well-being are the 2 problems solved by Hatica.

Promoting transparency and Accountability in the team through Hatica
What do you like best about the product?
Hatica has enabled transparency in our company through the use of extensive engineering metrics. A lot of things which were unmeasured and and have been surfaced through the use of Hatica. We are able to measure and drive Key performance Indicators for our engineering team. The team is also very responsive and not only they enabled the tool for us but they have been very forthcoming on sharing insights on our data and helping us make sense of the metrics.
The product was very easy to indtegrate and we were set up and running in days. They were able to take care of complexities like multiple identities etc.
the dashboard set Hatica exposes is the most comprehensive out of any tools that I have seen. A particular dashboard is the sprint performance dashboard which is not available with any other competitor and is super useful to us to measure the effectiveness of our sprints.
We also get access to their customer support through a dedicated slack channel and it is a delight to work with their team who are very prompt in resolving any queries or questions that our team has

What do you dislike about the product?
Some part of the product is in development. The integration list could be more extensive and there could be more documentation around how Hatica measures certain metrics. This would reduce our dependency on reaching out to their team for understanding the metrics
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We did not have any visibility wrt to the quality and teh amount of work that our team was doing. Hatica helps us run our team effectively where the leadership team gets an easy access to performance metrics of the team. Our managers use Hatica to drive efficiency in the team and identify ways of working which can be costly in future such as the right PR sizes, Whether someone is overloaded with reviews. Are we taking too much time to develop features, are there teams which are shirking work etc.
The opaqueness which was there in the system earlier where we were clueless about whether the team is efficient or not has been solved through hatica. It also drives a lot of self awareness in the team, by making available to them ready metrics which tehy will be measured on

What do you dislike about the product?
1.Can it integrate to a simple hrms like grethr in order to get my reporting team in place rather than creating a team myself?
2. Can Checkins be integrated to JIRA ?

One of the Best Tools for Engineering Managers
What do you like best about the product?
Apart from some very useful metrics like
- maker time
- cycle time
- Planning accuracy and
- code review metrics, one of the best feature is aggregated view of data points for a team.
This is helpful for checking the whole team health instead of just an individual.
Another great thing is that for each data metric, a detailed documentation is given to understand the meaning and impact of each data point.

What do you dislike about the product?
There were some initial glitches when I was checking the maker time dashboard. The graph was showing meeting time even when I was offline. Although this got fixed after some days
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
working as an engineering manager, I constantly need to find patterns & clues to check if my team is losing the developer productivity. I can check each individual's metrics and then talk to them in their next 1:1 and try solving the issues they are facing.
