An easy and guided approach for creating data pipelines
What do you like best about the product?
Use of openshift data foundation.
StreamSets can now be installed and uninstalled using the standard IBM Software Hub service methods, streamlining deployment and management compared to previous separate processes.

StreamSets tool for data integration and pipeline
What do you like best about the product?
I've had a very positive overall experience with streamsets. Streamsets are a tool that our organization uses to migrate its on-premises data to the cloud, it is a potent tool that can assist us in our cloud migration journey by connecting to numerous tools, such as Hadoop and Teradata, with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far i have observed that debugging becomes difficult when utilizing a large dataset because the pipeline fails without generating a specific error. It cannot establish parallel connections with Teradata to speed up pipeline execution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its ability to establish connections with different data sources.Simple method for scheduling tasks, so it doesn't need additional tools like AutoSys. If you wish to establish dependencies between indivisual streamset pipelines, you can use Data Collector pipelines.

What do you like best about the product?
I used StreamSets in one of my ETL project where we were working on Apache Spark for handling bulk data. The best thing I feel is it provides an easy way to configure pipelines so that we were able to process tasks easily using the same. Also apart from this it also helped in monitoring the same. Even for beginners it is very easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
While doing performance testing it took a lot of time for around 8-10 million records. That could be improved further. Also I think there is a scope to improve the details of errors in a more detailed way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to implement pipelines and do the monitoring in a very efficient and easy way.

What do you like best about the product?
StreamSets provides management control and operational visibility in data overall project pipeline. StreamSets is fast , easy to use and allowing us to create integration real-time data pipelines. It is also suppting Hybrid-cloud.

New version update needed for increase performance.Connectors are too frequently removed.

Processing data and management control of all data.

What do you like best about the product?
As a data engineer, running an ETL job in this platform in apache spark was carried out very smoothly and collecting data is always not a hassle job here.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far i found that the pipelines fails when i am running a large dataset which makes it very difficult to debug.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling job, migrating data on cloud like snowflake made it very easy for us to carry the operation in our organization.

Its a powerful tool for creating data engineering solutions and best thing is it can be integrated across different cloud environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far after the usage I didn't anything particular to dislike. Although it can be a little overwhelming for new users at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made it easy to build pipelines and has very effective event based data capture to support some of our real time applications. The easy integration data lake and warehouse makes analytics convenient.
A Powerful Platform for ETL and Streaming Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The platform’s growing support for automation, reusability, and real-time processing makes it not just an ETL tool, but a full-fledged DataOps platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
IBM Stream Sets is a powerful platform, but it can improve in a few key areas. Handling highly complex or customized integrations can be challenging, and connector support for some newer cloud services could be expanded. The learning curve for Control Hub and CI/CD automation is a bit steep for new users, and error messages during pipeline failures could be more detailed to help with faster troubleshooting.

Streamsets addressed the challanges associated with managing and integrating diverse data sources in real time. It helps me easy data integration, accurate real time processing and in maintaing data quality through ETL process.
