Great product but you need to listen to customers more
What do you like best about the product?
Cognos is a market leader and very solid product
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain features are missing despite them being very basic for analytics such as % on interactive reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are simplifying and availing data and analytics to our C-level

Study the move carefully

What do you like best about the product?
The various types of analysis gives us the user a lot of options. Also the metrics and data manipulation available is quite diverse. The integration to other dataset seems limited.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user experience/UI is very 90s. I have been using Einstein Analytics for my client and they love the UI and how easy it is to manipulate the data. In additon, it offers the avability to integrate with other datasets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not use IBM Cognos Analytics for our client.

The Dashboarding and story line abilities. Excellent for end users who do not have much technical skills but are well versed in their line of business.

Little hard to grasp some concepts for first timers.

discovery prediction grap in AI chatbot. Need to be more decriptive and with slicer.

What do you like best about the product?
The integration with other IBM Analytics Products like Cognos Planning Analytics and SPSS. These integrations deliver a complete solution to bring the full breadth of knowledge directly to the decision makers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of interconnection with Cloud based products. Would like it if we could integrate on prem Analytics and Planning Analytics with cloud offerings of Cognos Analytics, PAW, Watson Analytics, and other services for a hybrid cloud solution.
