Close partnership to solve our abuse problems
What do you like best about the product?
Arkose has a dedicated team of analysts working on our product to ensure we're constantly improving who gets Captcha and how hard. This helps us mitigate against attacks while ensuring good user experience
What do you dislike about the product?
Analyst work a lot of times fall short of experiment analysis practices that help inform a product decision. I'd like analyst work to show more impact / better drive towards a decision
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bots, compromise to keep bad actors off the platform via friction
Arkose is a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
Arkose is a two way door product backed by a rich security engineering culture and operational SOC team.
With reCaptcha we had very little engagement and support from google, it was a one way door. We ingested the response and acted on it. With Arkose we can dynamically tune and iterate on the product to respond to bad actors TTPs, game changing!
I'm most impressed with Arkose commitment to continuous product iteration and operational day to day SOC support.

What do you dislike about the product?
Continue to focus on latency reductions, which are already much improved with the v4 api and can be optimized with server localized calls non-cross region calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bad actor defenses
Arkose offers industry leading fraud mitigation that is head and shoulders above the competition
What do you like best about the product?
Arkose provides additional meta-data on top of the Captcha that gives our team insights into the nature of a given entity, and what risks it might represent.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some hiccups with alerting initially, which were promptly resolved by their support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They help lower the ROI for bad actors creating new accounts on our product by increasing friction at signup without impacting legitimate customers.
Very strong product for fraud defense
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of integration and the support from the team at Arkose
What do you dislike about the product?
While it requires sharing extensive data with Arkose, the team there does a remarkable job protecting it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fraudulent sign-in detection
Great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
From a project manager's perspective, Arkose offers great customer service, responding quickly to my requests and questions. Every individual I've interacted with has been professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Working with Arkose has been a positive collaborative experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything but would like to see more regular reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved reduction in fraud, account takeovers, credential stuffing
Arkose Labs Review
What do you like best about the product?
It was a seamless integration thanks to the Arkose team. They were amazing and communicative! I also enjoyed the dashboard capabilities for customers, allowed us to see what was going on
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to say here, just creating the min characters on this input field
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure we do not have any bots or sweatshops submitting fraduelent claims on our web form
Arkose understands balancing friction and bot mitigation
What do you like best about the product?
Bot mitigation is an arms race - botters are constantly changing their behavior and advancing their abilities to subvert detection and solve challenges. Likewise, Arkose employs many different types of challenges, and they are constantly developing and experimenting with new challenge types. The primary types of challenges used today are very different from what Arkose used four years ago, but they remain effective in bot mitigation without introducing additional friction for our regular users.
A key difficulty of bot mitigation is uncertainty. There are many cases (especially in account creation, for example) where we do not want to mitigate an action aggressively, but we also do not completely trust the executor of that action. This is where Arkose is most useful. When we have needed to employ the Arkose enforcement challenge, it has been effective at drastically reducing bot activity, but we only see marginal impact (less than one percent dropoff) of users that were later determined to be legitimate based on their activity on our platform.
Another of Arkose's strengths is their partnership. The types of attacks that every one of their customers sees can be very different, and we have seen that Arkose has tailored their enforcement mechanisms specifically for our needs. Arkose engineers and data scientists have responded directly to our requests. If you operate a service with a large user-base or a service with a high incentive to be targeted by botters, this is a key reason to choose Arkose over other options.

What do you dislike about the product?
There were initially issues with excessively difficult challenges and bot attacks, but we were able to solve this problem by using some of Arkose's additional features to share our own data about known legitimate users and suspected bots. Arkose's tools are most effective when you treat them as a partner, not as a separate entity that will solve all bot attacks on your behalf. If your user-base is particularly sensitive to captcha challenges, some attackers may make it past Arkose, but this does not discount Arkose's ability to reduce bot activity significantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Arkose's challenge to prevent bot account creation, account takeover, and various potential abuse vectors within our platform.
We use Arkose in conjunction with our own abuse detection methods. The differences we have seen after implementing Arkose's enforcement challenge on each feature are night and day - it is a critical component, particularly in the prevention of bot account creation, where we have very little historical data to know the risk of allowing an account to be created.

Excellent in combating ATO / Bot Accounts
What do you like best about the product?
Their communication and availability to address issues or answers questions is so top-notch it feels like they're one of our own internal teams. Useful dashboarding and deep-dive capabilities, great insights into attackers as well as real users and most importantly no complaints from real users who face challenges.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little, there have been times when I wished they would have been more proactive in identifying and alerting to new attacks but that has continued to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ATO, Credential Stuffing, Bot Account Creation. All of these have significantly decreased since onboarding Arkose.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dedicate analysts on your own side to monitor and help Arkose refine the product for your own use cases. The product is good but I do not think it is fire and forget, you'll get much better value out of it if have some resources dedicated to proactively monitoring, submitting tickets with Arkose and engaging them via chat/email/etc.
Team at Arkose knows their stuff
What do you like best about the product?
I have been impressed by their level of support for our organization. The Arkose team has been responsive, professional and always willing to assist. Additionally, their analysts are available to dig into the collected data and make recommendations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. My team has been happy with the product and level of service we have received.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deploying Arkose Labs on our account recovery flow has dramatically reduced the number of manual tickets we have had to address from a customer success standpoint. From the data, we can see the bots and credential stuffing attacks that Arkose has thwarted and it feels good to know that we've forced bad actors to waste time and effort attempting to bypass the Arkose security. This is a big win for the team.
A Great Product with Fantastic Support
What do you like best about the product?
We were looking to both improve the player experience when dealing with CAPTCHAs and also to prevent as much fraud as possible on our various online services. Arkose Labs Enforce was super easy to integrate into our websites and existing flows. We immediately witnessed a decrease in fraudulent behavior while improving the user experience. When new bad actors start abusing our services, Arkose Labs support quickly investigates and creates new strategies to deal with the abuse. Arkose Labs is also constantly improving their product, adding new challenges, monitoring our traffic, and suggesting additional integration strategies so that we both can benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, we had some latency issues with our mainland China users. However, Arkose Labs now provides their service from a China datacenter to address these latency issues. We are always looking for ways to improve the performance of our websites, and Arkose Labs was quick to respond to our requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Arkose Labs to limit credential stuffing attacks, mass account registrations, and fraudulent account recoveries. We have realized a significant decrease in all these areas, which we realize in the games as fewer accounts that spam messages or cheat.
