Great User Interface
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to use yet great tool for querying databases and creating simple reports. It has made my work very simple. I love to use this tool and continue my work on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of any; all the features work perfectly well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coginiti is helping me to create simple queries to fire on my database to do day in day out work. I enjoy the user interface. It is super clear, easy to understand

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our firm use mainly to analyze data and build SQL code against Netezza ( IBM pure data anlyitcs ) database
An ideal platform for saving, testing, and running code.
What do you like best about the product?
Coginiti is very user-friendly and makes it very easy to output code results into Excel or any other platform. It also has a good interface for debugging errors and adjusting code accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The program often takes a while to load. There is some syntax that I was not expecting to include as I had previously used Aginity, but luckily another analyst showed me how to load this code into Coginiti.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to test code and quickly debug errors that I can share with the team and implement as I continue to work on key projects! It also offers an easy platform for sharing code and making quick changes.

Flexibility. It remmber's the prior work and avoids re-work.

Have not noticed any. Everything seems to work fine , atleast for now.

What do you like best about the product?
Once the connection and drivers are set, it's very easy to connect to the database and start searching.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably my lack of knowledge of all the features, but the search will remain running if I forget to exit a query. This can slow down performance across the database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to pull and manage data from within a database and extract the salient information to determine trends, issues, etc.
Extremely Easy to Setup and Use!!

I really like the UI experience of the Coginity app and the ease of use!

Personally, overall I've not experience much of things that I didn't like.

It's helping me use and access the data clusterns to perform my daily tasks.
Bigdata Analytics made simpler
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of accessing the hadoop tables and explore them is really nice. This helps in understanding how tables are laid out and creating Hive queries becomes very easy
What do you dislike about the product?
Although there are not many issues i have faced in using the tool,The cost of getting the license is a little on the higher side. That being said every premium service comes at a price

What do you like best about the product?
People who know SQL can easily work on Aginity as it's front end coding contains SQL as the language to interact with the Hadoop framework. Also, you can run different queries on different tabs which makes parallel processing easy.

It catalogs both the data and the math utilized to create analytics, which makes it simpler to build trustworthy and consistent analytics.
Heard that the governance and data cleansing feauture is also amazing.

What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard could be more appealing and simple. Sometimes, it gets stuck before of large query handling but that's only sometimes. Initially I had some installation issues too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Extracting datasets, designing queries to look into big datasets etc. Aginity makes it very simple to do all such stuff. I have used the Azure SQL Data Warehouse to combine query performance with data security. My other team members used to integrate it with other products as well as their roles were of developers. I was a tester and my main job was to find loopholes in the analytics workload demands and expectations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1. Be well verse with SQL before using this. As most of the syntax is really SQL based, it would be better.
2. You can run different queries on different tabs, that's the good part. But try minimising them as well.

Never had major issues using Aginity

Is quick, is oointing our the errors in the code

Sometimes it freezes when i press execute
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Checking right aWay what data is being retrieved (because where i use sql doesn’t show me the data itself but rather the number of rows that are selected)

if a query takes longer than expected to run it may freeze the wwindow
