A functional app to maintain and work on all your databases
What do you like best about the product?
- User friendly: easy to create connection with my work cloud accounts
- Cogniti helps you to write your codes and review them easily because the color coding placed to guide you

What do you dislike about the product?
Cogniti support people are located in another continent with massive time differences. Hence, I am always unable to join it online. Fortunately, they are willing to share on the webinars' recording and open for any late questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our workplace has hundreds of databases/ tables, cogniti lets me connect to each of those databases for analytical purposes easily. Sometimes, I can also use to join multiple databases into one to allow me to do macro analysis across different departments in the business.

Coginiti For Enhanced Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I use and like Coginiti for a variety of reasons. One of them being having all my DB connections in one panel and I can easily switch between them with a single click. The recent dark mode is pretty to look at as well. I use it everyday for ad-hoc queries and viewing models in our DBs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. But perpahps oneday they will be able to support MongoDB as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coginiti solves the problem of having multiple User Interfaces for different database connections. They mash it all into one so that you can switch between all your connections in a single click.
Very user friendly tool to write and run queries needed to do my job
What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly too for querying databases. It has made my work as a Data Engineer easier as I do alot of data mining and analysis frequently for the business team. Its the main tool I use in my job. Love it!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing is that you can only get so much data back to display since i query very large databases but I understand there is only so much data space available, but it is still the best tool for me to do my job and would recommend it to other coleagues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am frequently running queries to data mine data and do analysis for our business customers. I can get detailed information for them to help them forecast and makes their job much easier as well.
High performance, good user experience once you get the hang of it!
What do you like best about the product?
- Make faster data-driven decisions especially with quick chart capabilities. Even without pasting the data in excel you can see quick trends and assess if the data makes sense.

What do you dislike about the product?
Trainings/guides should be easily accessible for the new folks using the tool. I feel there are tons of features that people don't know about and knowing them could make the job a lot easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our daily analysis involves exploring the medical claims data and understanding the unmet needs of patients, how we can help make the drugs more accessible thus benefitting the needy.
Very user friendly and robust hive engine
What do you like best about the product?
It has the most user friendly sql engine and support page. Not only does it support hive but provies ample industry level trainings on improving querying. Highly recommend for any analytics professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
If the license re-activation could be automated that would be great to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes querying and analyzing any hive databse a breeze. Also its features of formatting the query o/p for customized needs comes in very handy.

Coginiti is Fast and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The queries generally run very quickly and the system is able to spot errors by line in my code.

Sometimes the table structure is difficult to view and I can't see which columns are present in different tables.

Understanding how to write more efficient code and test queries before running them on other platforms.
Great Query and Catalog Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Cogniti app works very well with Amazon Redshift. The team releases updates very frequently, and new features are introduced. Works very well with Redshift's data shares, S3 bulk load, and Azure Active Directory authentication. Catalog is very nicely integrated and provides an easy way to save essential/useful queries. Innovative way of naming the worksheets. Thumbs up.
What do you dislike about the product?
App doesn't come with SQL auto-complete. This feature will provide more productivity when interacting with SQL and database objects. Also, sometimes using Query discoverability is complex, and the search UI needs more updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cogniti provides Query capabilities and data discoverability features. Data Engineers and Business teams use the application to analyze the data and derive insights.
Coginiti is the appropriate platform to host databases
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Coginiti since the Aginity Workbench days which eventually updated to Aginity Pro and now I'm currently using Coginiti Pro. Getting a license is a simple process and the platform itself is extremely dumb proof. I've onboarded interns who needed to use Coginiti - it is straightforward to use and easy to get started with querying immediately. I rely on Coginiti in my role as a Data Scientist and highly recommend using their platform over others because we shouldn't break what's not broken. :)
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any downsides to using Coginiti besides the one time my license unexpectedly expired but this was not Coginiti's fault. Coginiti Support was quick to resolve any issues I've ever had with their platform so I know even if I had a problem with use, they are always actively there to fix it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coginiti is able to host many connections which is an essential requirement for any company. My team uses Amazon Redshift for our databases which are easily connected to the platform and allow us to immediately jump into completely our query requests.
