What do you like best about the product?
I like that IBM security GVA discovers all our databases automatically sonit ssves us the time we would have spent doing that manually. It also has scans the database for any weaknesses and it gies a step further and suggests remediation actions for any weakness and vulnerabilities found. Its a good tool for enhancing our database security by automating scanning for vulnerabilities and weaknesses that havkers may use to attack us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been having a hard time understanding the error kogs that it sends, this also impedes my understanding of the problems and hence make it it hard to fix the issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product is helping us improve our security for our databases by scanning them for any weakness or vulnerabilities that a hacker may exploit in their evil plans. IBM security GVA helps us to limit user access to our databases and flags any unusual activity by users that may pose a threat to our database.
Identifies security gaps and vulnerabilities in our database
What do you like best about the product?
IBM GVA is very good because it scan our entire database for any vulnerabilities or weaknesses in our security protocols, it also send real time alerts and notifications alerts whenever a potential threat or suspicious activity is identified and gives suggestions on how to fix those security gaps. This has enabled us to effectively and quickly respond to all suspicious activities and weaknesses, and thus we are able to safeguard our data in our data base and warehouse from external and internal attacks and from data breach or data loss scenarios
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a bit complex to deploy during initial setup and the available documentation isn't sufficient to guide through this initial setup process. Took us a bit of time though we eventually figured it out

IBM GVA is our first line of defense in our database security, we use it to scan and identify all weaknesses, vulnerabilities that s hacker may ise to acces our database and cause damage , IBM GVA has identified both a architectural and user behavior weaknesses such as shared passwords/accounts, unusual hour login, and si much more wnd it gieves us suggestions on how to fix these vulnerabilities so as to enhance our database security. IBM GVA has allowed us to effectively safeguard our sensitive Company data from all threats and attacks from different sources.

The user interactive and friendly nature of the product could be more interactive.

Improves our database security through effective vulnerability assessment
What do you like best about the product?
I like IBM Security GVA because it scans and identifies any weak points in our database and sends a comprehensive actionable report on any vulnerabilities and weaknesses such as weak passwords, unusual after hours activity, Account sharing and missing patches amongs others and more than that it gives immediate actionable suggestions on how to address those vulnerabilities. I also like that it has automated configuration so setting up and deployment is easy and hassle free.

I have had a very good experience with IBM Security Guardium Vulnerability Assessment so nothing to dislike

IBM Security Guardium Vulnerability Assessment is helping us secure our database by checking for any vulnerabilities that could pose a serious threat to our data safety, it helps to identify any weaknesses in our database that a hacker can exploit to gain acces and suggests wys to fix and remwdy the situation. What do you like best about the product?
To assess data risks and manage data threats, we make use of IBM Security Guardium. Additionally, it offers reports and a dashboard for visualising data dangers. Additionally, it is beneficial to do vulnerability analyses and deal with problems in my organisation such weak passwords and illegal changes.

Without any prior expertise, our IT team was able to understand the product, however the navigation and interface are a little challenging for new users and might be enhanced.

The best thing I liked about this product is it's in-depth scanning, monitoring, reporting and automation of Compliance Audit.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should have more flexibility and integration with various platforms and also the prices were costly but however we were able to convience them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem was compliance auditing and security. It provided us with the centralized Dashboard which helped us to monitor our infra and applications.

Go for it if you or your organization wanted to have proper security, assessment and compliance audit and reporting.

Nothing so far that i know. Need to work more on it

Conduct dynamic tests that uncover behavioral vulnerabilities such as account sharing, excessive login failures and unusual after-hours activity.

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent tool to impement a zero trust approach in data security for a cloud environment that is public, private or a hybrid one. As the cloud environment becomes more complex , compliance pkays a key role in maintaining data security Hence streamlining audit processs While sharing i sights across teams becomes very critical. This is where this toll comes very handy. Competitors like Druva, Virtru, Alien vault are a little behind in terms of features and ease of use which IBM offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall product feature customization and UI/UX could be improved by making it more intuitive and modern. Further Dashboard customization can help generate more team specific reports. More training material can help the team become well versed in its features as it can be quite daunting for freshers. IBM specific Certifications can help hire skilled resources .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated audits and reports thus increasing team productivity, reduce data risk by storing compliance data thus improving internal processes and increaing business operformance, activity tracking of end users. We have had zero incidents for close to two years which means no penalties or loss of work thus creating direct financial benefit both for us and our clients.

Since cloud deployment is on the increase a trusted brand goes a long way for data security. Hence for your clients this tool is a big win especially in the middle east and apac region.
