DB Protection Fun
What do you like best about the product?
Best practices of Harden function and Investigate Dashboard. So, big base for signatures for all of db platforms, based on cve/cis/stig requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating of Reporting for each rule. I think , creator of IBM Guardium, must create a button “Create a Report for this Rule” . Because, it take a long time for create report for each rule.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unauthorized Access, Unauthorized IP connect.

Helps securing private data and integrity of data. Mostly used it for relational databases and file systems and various types of data

Setting up is a complex and tiersome process. It could be made more streamlined.

Would recommend it for sure. The setup is difficult but it once running it does its job.

The peace of mind of knowing that our system is protected. The assessments provided and in-depth analysis provided allows us to take pre-emptive measures against potential threats.

Overall the product has been great. Customer support is lacking a bit, but overall it's been a positive experience.

Increased security analysis.

I'd do research into various areas to makes sure you need this level of security analysis. Some smaller businesses would probably be alright with some of the cheaper options.

My favorite part of this experience was the easy of the entire program. It made it easy to understand and move around. I was able to feel comfortable to show others in the company the ways around the system. I got many positive reviews back

It was time consuming to start up the process. I did not understand all the initial questions that were being asked. After I talked to someone from the company I was able to understand what was needed to continue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the ability to maintain a certain ability to stay safe within the system. Being able to use it throughout the entire company helps us feel secure.

Yes i would recommend it! Make sure you take the time to learn the program inside and out. Once you start to understand what is going on, your life becomes alot easier. It has been the best blessing altogether!
