What do you like best about the product?
All services cater towards constantly changing cybersecurity needs. A proactive approach to user-friendly GUIs and platforms. Competitive pricing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow integration of all services under one platform. Currently have to manage and monitor multiple sites/authentication for the different services signed up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSNetworks for ingres and egres traffic sniff
eSEndpoint for endpoint protection with carbon black
eSlogs for centralized logging and alerting

What do you like best about the product?
We've been with eSentire for over 7 years, and they've consistently proven to be an invaluable part of our cybersecurity strategy. From day one, they’ve acted as more than just a vendor — they’ve been a trusted partner, operating like an extension of our internal team.

Their MDR platform is rock solid, and their Security Operations Center (SOC) analysts are sharp, responsive, and genuinely proactive. We've caught several threats early thanks to their real-time visibility and fast containment. Their threat intelligence and incident response capabilities are also impressive — detailed, thorough, and delivered with a clear sense of urgency.

We’ve worked with a few different providers over the years, and eSentire has been the one that continues to balance deep technical skill with great communication and service. When we’ve had questions or needed escalations, their team has always been responsive and willing to explain the “why” behind the “what.”

What do you like best about the product?
eSentire has become our go-to business partner for all things about security. They provide exceptional security solutions that meet industry requirements and help us mitigate risks. With eSentire, we can avoid the complexities and costs that come with hiring & training our own experts. Instead, we get high quality support from their SOC analysts and threat hunters who have 24/7 eyes on glass. eSentire top-of-line XDR platform gathers information from a broad array of signals and context drivers to give us a comprehensive visibility of our environment. Furthermore the insight portal is easy to use whenever we need to look up investigation details from a specific signal. It also provide solid audit evidence for our certification audit and client audits.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major issues with eSentire. Their dedication, expertise, and continuous support have consistently gone above and beyond our expectations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before eSentire, my internal security team simply didn't have the capacity or know-how to monitor our environment 24/7. Engaging eSentire has helped us to maintain a strong security posture without straining my own staff. They go above and beyond to proactively identify and address potential vulnerabilities before they have a chance to damage our reputation.
The insights from eSentire’s threat response unit have been invaluable to us, especially the monthly threat intelligence briefings. They help us stay one step ahead and connect the dots between security events that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. We know eSentire has our backs. I also leverage eSentire resources as a continous training platform my team.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that we can engage at anytime throughout the day with the SOC team and they are always ready to help with whatever security issues we are facing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that eSentier does not have many events in the NYC area; I feel that the events would benefit them and extend their name and customer satisfaction to others who are curious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the fact that with the many gaps that we encounter in our environment due to budgeting or manpower that we have a team to monitor and provide compensating controls. We also are providing a 24/7 monitoring solution so that we are being watched at all time.

eSentire - The first and best MDR in the industry.

What do you like best about the product?
The technology employed in eSentire's products is best in class. The time to detection is measured in minutes/seconds, not days, weeks or months. This is critical to any company's security posture to prevent a breach and/or data loss. Customer service has been excellent and slthough response time has slowed somewhat (see "dislikes" below), it's still way above industry average.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only two criticisms I have are that customer service response time has slowed somewhat as eSentire's customer base has increased. We have been assured that this is temporary as the company has increased their security analyst hiring. The second issue is around the marketing of their product lines. This shortcoming has been addressed with the hiring of their CMO (Erin McLean). She has improved the messaging of the firm's products and has clarified eSentire's message around product offerings. She has also increased eSentire's visibility to the world through LinkedIn messaging/posts and events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire is the cornerstone of our security posture and while no solution is perfect, we have never experienced a breach and we feel that we have full visibility into our network and our ingress/egress network traffic with esNETWORK. Through esRECON, we are alerted to vulnerabilities on a monthly basis and esINSIDER helps us identify any threats within the network. The benefits are a secure network with no data loss.

What do you like best about the product?
Assessing security vendors is challenging. As a security practitioner, there’s a tendency to constantly feel you’re behind the ever-evolving threat landscape. We needed a cybersecurity solution that would mature with our needs, and eSentire fit the bill.
For me and my team, eSentire is far more than a security vendor. We trust eSentire as a business partner who’s always on the lookout for us. Their experts are intimately familiar with our environment, and we can trust that they will detect any anomalies in our environment and do everything possible to protect us.
Having eSentire services allows us to monitor multiple signals within our complex environment. This visibility is critical to being able to identify threats as soon as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything to dislike about the eSentire services I currently use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even though I have a decently sized in house team, you can’t do it all, particularly 24/7. eSentire answered two of our most pressing needs: identifying threats quickly and extending capabilities to respond, minimizing the impact of any threat.
We know that with eSentire we’re protected by the best security pros in the business. They have a strong track record of developing and retaining talent, they always deliver high quality support, and they alleviate the pressures on my staff by acting as an extension of our team.
In short - partnering with eSentire was a cost-effective way for us to maintain 24/7 coverage, get expert guidance, and prioritize resilience.

This company's customer service, dedication, and services will impress. Give them a shot.

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent account management and support. Very willing to work with us to ensure that our unique requirements are met. This service gives my team peace of mind that there is always a qualified analyst on watch. Regular reviews have kept us up to date on what they are doing and what we need to watch out for and address. Very thorough.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not sure I can pinpoint a significant downside. You always want to spend less on your MDR outsourcing, but it is the cost of taking that approach. eSentire is generally on par with its peers in the industry
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire has allowed us to provide our business with the peace of mind that we have a world-class SOC/SIEM in place without the overhead of maintaining that talent and 24/7/365 structure. It has allowed my team to focus on building a robust, certified security infrastructure, knowing that the operational component is solid.

24/7/365 Cyber surveillance on infrastructure by security experts. With eSentire, I feel we are proactive on how we handle cyber risk, and they make sure we are aware of trending attacks, vulnerabilities, and they are willing to work with us to educate your end users.

When comparing services, make sure competitors have the same offerings and speak with clients that use them.
