Wiz - Your Cloud Security Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz provides visibility across all of your cloud platforms in a single location to make cloud management easier for your organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this time. Integrations are continually coming out and Wiz is quick to provide integrations for other solutions that their clients need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz provides us with centralized visibility of our cloud environment and allows us to see vulnerabilities, security misconfigurations, external exposures and more.

One of the best Cloud Security products on the market
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz constantly innovates, releasing big features at least twice a week, if not quicker.
Their customer success teams are fantastic and are always very responsive and helpful.
Their documentation is incredibly detailed but easy to read; wherever possible, they strive to provide terraform options for setup.
The product is very extensible and integrates with just about every third-party tool on the market.
They have made the integration into cloud providers incredibly simple and reliable.
The product is multi-tenancy capable.

What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz's pricing model could be more competitive, but the reality is you get what you pain for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every time I log into Wiz it provides me with information about our environment that I didn't know about. It's visibility and ability to drill it the fine details of a service or system is pretty incredible.

What do you like best about the product?
Wiz integrates very seamlessly with all major cloud infrastructure providers. The product offerings are quite robust. The best thing about the tool is that it prioritizes findings with overall risks to the organization. This is crucial to stakeholders and security in narrowing down our remediation efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features within Wiz can come across as immature or needing additional development. For example, we utilize the tool for vulnerability management. While this component "works", there are some basic features that are continually being added now but should have been there prior to being publicly released.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz makes addressing cloud security issues much easier than any other tool I have ever utilized. There are many options for reporting and automation that makes our lives easier.
Lives up to the magical name
What do you like best about the product?
You can get visibility into ALL your cloud environments so quickly. I also love having so much flexibility to make your own queries to find things beyond the built-in controls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes building queries can be a bit tricky, and you don't realize you aren't actually searching for what you think you are. Sometimes it seems like there are two ways to build the same query, and it isn't apparent what the difference is and why there are different results. But if you reach out to the wiz team, they are good at helping to explain and find the right query.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz helps to get quick visibility under a single pane of glass across cloud environments in order to identify risky combinations of technology and configurations.

What do you like best about the product?
This CNAPP has been able to show the security posture across the enterprise. Visibility of issues, an interface that brings the data in an easy-to-use dashboard and the presentation of the toxic combinations allows a business to understand problems and the exposure of critical data quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Thus far in our Wiz journey, I haven't really found anything I dislike. The Wiz platform support has taken care of anything we needed quickly and effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The CNAPP platform is answering the question of our enterprise's posture. Where are the critical issue we have and didn't know about. The product allows me to quickly drill down to what business or account the toxic combination is, provides the complete finding data and risk indicator on each issue, and the steps to remediate.

What do you like best about the product?
Wiz is a very robust product overall in terms of features, efficient updates, ease of use, and has a very strong technical/support team to back it up. Definitely recommend it for clients with a broad cloud infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz has quite a learning curve, due to the large feature set it has, and would probably take full time dedicated resources to get the most value out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz has helped us bolster our cloud security, while giving us a better idea of what/where our resources are. It has highlighted a couple of issues on resources that security wouldn't have even known existed otherwise.
Wiz provides great telemetry into cloud environments!

-Issue records are great for identifying high-risk configurations in the cloud environment

-records being non-persistent can introduce difficulties when tracking remediation

-detection of vulnerabilities in the cloud allow us to define appropriate remediation actions
Wiz helps ease the process of reducing overall organization risk.
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz is a simple-to-use Suite of tools that help us quickly pinpoint, address, and make the necessary changes to reduce our exposure points and develop best practices in hardening our cloud environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about the product though I do have some recommendations for having Wiz step into API security; doing so will help orgs have a more robust all-in-one tool suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz has helped us identify some of the poor practices and approaches we have been taking when using cloud services. Since using wiz, we have been able to address significant concerns, educate our engineering teams on best practices, and take a more secure approach to leverage the cloud for our needs.
Wiz will be replacing our legacy security solution
What do you like best about the product?
As a cloud infrastructure engineer, deploying resources can be scary. You never know when you will misconfigure resources that would overly expose applications and environments to the public internet where you did not intend to. Wiz will tell us in real-time and alert us. If you are more tech-savvy, you can use their API to build custom monitoring solutions with your existing observability stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of information. It is up to the user to decide what information is too much versus good details. This is highly dependent on your job role and position.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz is replacing our existing security solution. The current solution we have has been the gold standard for over a decade but Wiz takes a modern approach with emphasis on cloud resources.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the network graph the best, as it shows our exposed endpoints and automatically draws our network graph for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The gui navigation could be structured better, for instance for me to see my eks overview I have to go through 3-4 separate windows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz provides a simplified security dashboard which allows us to tackle problems more effectively without repeated tasks.
